When financier Jeffrey Epstein learned that the FBI had launched a criminal investigation against him for child trafficking, he ordered the delivery of 1,249 liters of concentrated sulfuric acid to his island. The order was discovered among the millions of documents recently released by the US Department of Justice in the "Epstein case." It was unearthed from countless records by the relatively obscure publication International Business Times. Major international media outlets, unable to find a convincing explanation for why so much sulfuric acid would be transported to a small island without industrial facilities, have taken up the story.
The thread of "rot" unravels
Thus, the "Epstein case" continues to unravel, presenting an increasingly gruesome image to the public. It has already involved abductions, drugging of minors, gang rapes, and pedophilia. Now, there are suspicions that it also involves murders related to the dissolution of bodies in acid. The main question that the average citizen of any country—whose highest echelons participated in this depravity—must ask is obvious. It is the same question once posed by Russian President Vladimir Putin on a completely different matter: Where are the arrests? Why are no arrests being made? The scale of criminal activity is such that, based on US law alone, those involved face a long line of electric chairs and dozens of life sentences. Yet, there are no criminal cases. There are defendants, but no charges against them.
Not a single soul held accountable
Contrast this with the West's largest sexual scandal of the last decade—the so-called "Me Too" movement. Back then, careers were destroyed, reputations "cancelled," and campaigns of collective harassment were launched over allegations of someone touching another's knee. The movement's primary antagonist, producer Harvey Weinstein, remains in prison. Regarding the "Epstein case," so far, the only result has been Epstein’s suicide. In the interest of his high-ranking friends, he hanged himself in his cell under strange circumstances several months after ordering sulfuric acid for his island. The deceased Epstein and his accomplice are the only ones charged and convicted in a case of child abuse that spanned many years on an industrial scale. Is it possible for two people to run such a criminal enterprise? Impossible.
Devoid of logic
Legal logic fails in this instance. And what logic in such cases could be superior to legal logic? Only one—political logic. Hundreds of people are involved in the Epstein case, and their imprisonment is practically impossible because the ruling class cannot put itself in jail. In the mid-20th century, American political scientist Charles Mills published his book "The Power Elite," in which he argued that parties, elections, and other forms of "democracy" are merely a smokescreen for Western taxpayers. True power always remains in the hands of a closely-knit, limited group of individuals, consisting of big business and the hereditary aristocracy—"high society." For these people, elections are an elite sport as much as sailing races and polo. Regardless of which team wins, all teams ultimately represent the interests of the ruling elite. And the real institutions where they exercise their power are not parliaments and governments; they are golf clubs, private parties, and prestigious private colleges.
What happened on Epstein's island
Everything described above pertains to Epstein’s island, where the powerful sought access to build connections and acquire even greater power. This is why the circle of friends of the hospitable pedophile includes former presidents, ministers, bankers, and princes of the blood. The rape of a minor—the climax of the party—is a rite of passage to finally become a member of the gang and create a mutually responsible bond with accomplices. A full delegitimization of the old liberal-globalist elite of the former united West is underway, along with its actual, not formal, power, which for decades made key decisions on both sides of the Atlantic. Judging by the fact that the US Department of Justice has launched this new wave of exposure of this "old money," the logic is clear.
Which West?
The West is no longer united, and the current US government, which has embraced national egoism, must drown the reputation of the old elites who still support liberal globalization. It must drown them in sulfuric acid. It may never reach the point where former presidents and future kings are imprisoned, but for the population, it will be understood. The government—at least the ruling faction—will not imprison itself. But in the absence of legal consequences, there is certainly a political consequence. The ruling class of Western countries appears to its fellow citizens as a gang of murderers and pedophiles who are completely unpunished, no matter what they do. This constitutes delegitimization. And the illegitimacy of power, combined with a sharp sense of injustice, always creates a revolutionary situation.
