Solar anomaly: Scientists stunned as giant 1.5 million-kilometre 'smile' appears on Sun

A blood-chilling solar anomaly

Scientists have recorded a terrifying yet paradoxical anomaly on the surface of the Sun, as a giant "smile" formed across our system's star. According to the IKI RAN Laboratory of Astronomy, this phenomenon spans an unimaginable distance of 1.5 million kilometers, causing both awe and concern within the scientific community.

The eyes of the sun and the fiery grin

This cosmogonic "face" is nothing more than a play of solar forces. The two massive "eyes" consist of two large active regions of the Sun, while the chilling smile is formed by a protruding fiery jet (prominence) that reaches a size of 500,000 kilometers.

Planetary isolation and record-breaking explosions

Scientists point out an interesting detail: the planets closest to Earth—namely Venus, Mercury, and Mars—are currently located on the "far side" of the Sun, leaving Earth exposed to solar temperaments. At the same time, anxiety is mounting as another group of sunspots, Region 4366, exhibits anomalous activity directly opposite our planet. This specific region has triggered one of the strongest pulses of activity in recent years, nearly reaching the absolute record for solar flares in the 21st century.
