Russian general reveals launch locations of kamikaze drones that struck Moscow
The Lieutenant General of the Aviation, Sergei Lipovoy, in his interview revealed the exact launch points of the Ukrainian drones, unmasking the strategy that put the Kremlin on alert.

New, shocking details about the geography and tactics of the historic air raid against Moscow come to light from the heart of the Russian armed forces. The Lieutenant General of the Aviation, Sergei Lipovoy, in his interview revealed the exact launch points of the Ukrainian drones, unmasking the strategy that put the Kremlin on alert.

The three regions - launching pads of Kyiv

According to the official assessment of the Russian Major General, Ukraine did not use third countries, but utilized to the fullest the territories under the control of Kyiv, exploiting the border proximity: The aircraft-type drones (such as the Lyuty and FP-1) took off from the border regions of Kharkiv and Sumy, as well as from the region of Dnipropetrovsk. These regions offer the minimum possible flight distance to Moscow (approximately 450,500 kilometers), allowing the drones to maintain a maximum load of explosives instead of extra fuel.

The wave tactic: How was the air defense bypassed?

General Lipovoy explained that the success of the very few drones that managed to strike the Moscow refinery and the residential skyscraper is not due to a weakness of the Russian systems, but to a highly calculated saturation tactic, wave tactics: "This is the 'wave' method. The Ukrainians launched a massive first wave of drones with the sole purpose of forcing the Russian anti-aircraft systems (Pantsir, S-400) to consume all their missiles. At the moment when the systems were in the reloading phase, the Ukrainians passed the 'strike wave' with drones flying at an extremely low altitude." The analysis of Lipovoy links perfectly with the reports of the war correspondent Aleksandr Kots, who confirmed that the raid of the 200 drones was executed in three preparatory stages:

1) Reconnaissance (radar detection),

2) Testing (exhaustion of air defense ammunition) and

3) Final strike (breakthrough and engagement of strategic targets).
