Putin’s bomb message to Trump: Stop unilateral actions against countries, you are bringing chaos and anarchy - Opening to Europe
«Diplomacy and the search for compromise are increasingly being replaced by dangerous unilateral actions and monologues by countries that consider it acceptable to impose their will and tell others how to live», Putin stressed, addressing the American president

A fire message from the Russian president Vladimir Putin, who in a weighty intervention warned his American counterpart Donald Trump to stop unilateral actions against various countries around the world, as an enormous risk to global security is being created.
At the same time, of great importance is the opening made by the Russian leader toward Europe for the restoration of relations between the two sides.
Regarding Ukraine, Putin noted that Russia will continue to achieve its objectives in the special military operation, while once again accusing NATO expansion of causing the crisis.

Message to Trump on unilateral actions

During a credentials ceremony for foreign ambassadors on Thursday (15/1/2026), the Russian leader observed that the situation on the international stage is deteriorating and that the main party responsible for this situation is the West.
Making very clear barbs toward the United States and Donald Trump, mainly over the issue of Greenland, Putin stressed: «Diplomacy and the search for compromise are increasingly being replaced by dangerous unilateral actions and monologues by countries that consider it acceptable to impose their will and to “tell others how to live”».
«Diplomacy, the search for consensus and compromise solutions are increasingly being replaced by unilateral and very dangerous actions», the head of the Russian state emphasized.
«And instead of dialogue between states, we hear the monologue of those who, by the right of force, consider it permissible to impose their will, to teach others how to live and to issue orders», he noted.

NATO responsible for the Ukrainian crisis

Putin underlined that the crisis in Ukraine was a direct result of the disregard for Russian interests and the creation of threats to Russia’s security.
He stressed that security must be truly comprehensive, equal and indivisible, and cannot be achieved for some at the expense of the security of others.
As he noted, ignoring this fundamental principle of international law has never produced positive results, while the crisis in Ukraine demonstrates the consequences of the long term neglect of the «legitimate» Russian interests and the pursuit of creating threats near Russia’s borders through NATO expansion.

Russia will achieve its objectives in Ukraine

The Russian president stressed that his country will continue to achieve the objectives of the special military operation in Ukraine until Kyiv and its supporters are ready for a peaceful settlement.
As he stated, Russia has proposed practical solutions that could be accepted worldwide, America, Europe, and Asia, and considers that it is worthwhile to return to the discussion in a substantive manner.
Putin underlined the need for a rapid peaceful resolution of the crisis, noting that Russia has repeatedly proposed initiatives for a new, reliable and fair architecture of European and global security.
He also emphasized Russia’s role in the world, not only because of its territory, population and technological industrial power, but also because of its natural resources, stressing that global balance depends on its participation.

Opening to Europe

Continuing, Putin noted that his country is ready to build equal and mutually beneficial relations with all states of the world, with the aim of common prosperity and development.
He called on diplomats to take into account that Russia is always willing to cooperate with international partners to promote prosperity, well being and development on a global level.
This constitutes a response to European leaders, such as the French president Emmanuel Macron and the Italian prime minister Giorgia Meloni, who emphasize the need to restore dialogue with Russia.
Continuing, he observed that Russia’s relations with certain European countries «have much room to be corrected», expressing the hope that over time the situation will improve and states will return to constructive dialogue, taking security issues into account.
Putin recalled the deep historical relations and cooperation with countries such as Slovenia, France, Czechia, Portugal, Norway, Sweden, Austria, Switzerland, and Italy.
However, as he pointed out, dialogue and cooperation on key international and regional issues have been limited, not because of Russia, while he hopes that relations will return to a normal, constructive course based on respect for national interests and legitimate security concerns.

The multipolar world order as an antidote to chaos and anarchy

Putin called on the entire international community to insist more strongly on adherence to international law, as well as to provide real assistance to the «emerging new multipolar world order».
He pointed out the fact that dozens of countries around the world today suffer from disregard for their sovereign rights, from chaos and anarchy, while lacking the power and resources to defend themselves.
«A logical solution to this situation appears to be the more persistent demand for compliance with international law by all members of the international community, as well as the provision of real assistance to the emerging new, fairer multipolar world order», the Russian leader is convinced.
«A world order in which all states will have the right to their own model of development, to determine their own destiny independently, without external influences, while preserving their distinct culture and traditions».
At the same time, he stressed that Russia remains sincerely committed to the ideals of a multipolar world and will continue to pursue a balanced and constructive foreign policy, as always.

Peace requires effort

«Russia is sincerely committed to the ideals of a multipolar world.
Our country has always followed and will continue to follow a balanced, constructive foreign policy that takes into account both our national interests and the objective trends of global development», the Russian leader assured.
«One of the key factors for sustainable development and the prosperity of humanity is international cooperation.
In today’s diverse and interconnected world, global stability and security depend directly on the ability of states to engage in constructive interactions.
And open, sincere partnerships provide opportunities to address common, even the most complex, challenges», declared the Russian President.
«It is not by chance that they say peace does not come by itself, but is built, every day.
Peace requires effort, responsibility and conscious choice.
And the importance of this is obvious.
Especially now, when the situation on the international stage is worsening more and more.
I do not think anyone would disagree with this», he added.
