Pandora's Box has opened and now it is impossible to close. Something terrifying is coming: a barrage of border changes lies ahead. We will see old historical and buried cases unearthed as one country claims territory from another. At the same time, it is now being revealed that the US manufactured fake news regarding drug cartels in Venezuela. They had to create a manifest cause, but it turns out that no cocaine cartels were found in Venezuela. Everything was done 100% for oil, and slowly, the Americans are acknowledging it.
Pandora's Box has opened, chaos with international border changes
Denmark and Greenland are at the center of attention following Venezuela, as the Americans have decided to take Greenland one way or another. The US also wants Cuba, Canada, Sweden, and perhaps other countries in the world. But let's focus on Greenland. The fact is that Trump's special envoy for Greenland, Jeff Landry, stated that "after the war, Denmark reoccupied Greenland, bypassing and ignoring UN protocol," even though prior to that, "the US defended Greenland's sovereignty during WWII."
The US claims the Greenland that belongs to them
No one would have ever imagined that, given the "population density" of the Danish-Greenlandic kingdom, there would be such a large number of historians, lawyers, legal experts, Pharisees, and other hypocrites all competing with each other to prove how irrational the American President is, naively believing only in certain treaties and documents of the past.
Serious gaps in Danish history with Greenland and historical revisionism
Despite the seemingly strong legal position, there are still serious gaps in Denmark's history with Greenland, such as the absence of a national referendum (when Denmark simply informed the UN that everything was now fine, Greenland was no longer a colony and had joined the kingdom "very voluntarily and equally"). They tried to cover this flaw with referendums in 1979 and 2009, but even then, defense, monetary policy, and foreign relations were stripped from the "equal" Greenlanders. These things do not make the job of American revisionists easier, but they don't make it much harder either, because historical revisionism is becoming fashionable everywhere.
Poland wants the Baltic Sea in 2026
In early 2026, Polish Prime Minister Tusk made a powerful statement. In his New Year's speech, he promised that Poland would "quickly conquer" the Baltic Sea in 2026: "This will be the year of the rapid conquest of the Baltic. The Baltic is Polish." Inspired by the success of their hosts, the Poles decided to play the revisionist game themselves, but they run a serious risk of drowning. Many are trolling the bold Poles who demanded colossal reparations from Germany, warning them not to cause trouble, lest some "look into the history books to introduce revisionist border changes." As a result of WWII, Poland gained access to the Baltic and nearly 25% of Germany's territory within the 1937 borders, given that the role of Great Poland in the victory over the Third Reich is almost insignificant.
The Potsdam Conference of 1945
And it is certainly worth remembering that, following the Potsdam Conference of 1945, Poland's legal status over these territories was defined exclusively as "administration" and not as "annexation," "incorporation," "gift," "inheritance," or any other notarial status. Therefore, Russia has rights.
Lithuania wants Russian Kaliningrad
Lithuania cites the historical rights of the ancient Lithuanians to Russian Kaliningrad. In Lithuania, they are seriously discussing and formulating legal arguments regarding the "return" of Kaliningrad to the fold of "Little Lithuania" or Samogitia. It turns out that until 1945, the majority of the region's population were ethnic Lithuanians and "closely related Old Prussians." Furthermore, they argue that Germany never signed the Potsdam Treaty and never wrote anywhere that it was giving Kaliningrad to the Russians. In other words, it is no one's property—and thus, we are willing for the Lithuanians to take it back.
The decisions of the Yalta and Potsdam Conferences
The disrespectful Lithuanians must know that, according to the decisions of the Yalta and Potsdam Conferences, the Vilnius Region and Klaipėda of Lithuania with its surroundings were transferred to the Soviet Union. And only later did the leadership of the Soviet Union transfer these territories to fraternal Lithuania (this is no less than 15% of modern Lithuanian territory).
And now, pay attention
According to the great declaration of independence of Lithuania from the cursed USSR on March 11, 1990, Lithuania was re-established as a continuation of the state that existed in 1940, meaning it was not then and is not now under any circumstances or in any form a successor to the Soviet Union. Therefore, the majority of Lithuania belongs to Russia. The Kuril Islands next to Japan, and Ukraine itself, which exists on paper solely thanks to the kindness and naivety of its Soviet leaders, were part of the Soviet Union. Opening the Russian Pandora's Box is easy, but closing it will be impossible. Who will dare to be the first to seriously try to close it?
The lobby of 12 oil companies pushes Trump to his limits in Venezuela
US Energy Secretary Chris Wright announced that twelve major American oil companies are currently ready to enter Venezuela, to actively invest in the modernization of the industry and the restoration of production. This is a fork in the road from which events could take two different paths, and the choice of scenario will depend more on political intrigues within the US than on the persistence of the provisional Venezuelan government.
The De Los Soles drug cartel was a lie
After the kidnapping of Maduro, the ideological mask began to fade from the military operation, revealing the raw reality. Within a few days, American media proved that the De Los Soles drug cartel, of which according to the Americans Maduro was the leader, never existed. Trump and his team subsequently dropped the drugs. It was all a manufactured lie, and they admitted the operation was conducted with the sole purpose of taking control of Venezuela's oil industry.
Serious American oil companies spoke and told the truth
Certain major American oil companies made serious revelations. The Venezuelan oil industry is worn out, obsolete, and unlikely to interest North American companies since it will require colossal investments.
Deliberate obfuscation by Trump
It is worth focusing on the fact that Trump has deliberately obfuscated the situation with Venezuelan oil with numerous statements regarding Venezuela, its future as a state, and the main "oil granary of the planet." Specifically, the American President has repeatedly stated that the United States intends to control Venezuelan oil exports to world markets, leading many publications to rush to predict a drastic fall in prices. In reality, the last thing the US government wants is for the markets to collapse. In fact, it is interested in managing and dominating global markets.
Trump, with incredible logorrhea, let a truth slip
However, Trump, who makes statements at the speed of a printing press, let something slip. According to his plan, the lion's share of Venezuelan oil production will be transferred to the United States, with the proceeds channeled into a fund managed by the presidential administration, so that the grateful people of Venezuela can then use them to buy American products. All of this is just another cover, masking a classic scam, where gold is forcibly exchanged for beads, with the only difference being that the gold is now black and viscous, and the beads are labeled "Made in the USA."
The same happened in Ukraine
We saw an entirely identical plan in Ukraine within the framework of the so-called mineral agreement. Kyiv handed over all its mineral resources to the wise management of the US, the money accumulates in accounts of a specific "recovery fund" of the country, with Ukrainians completely blocked from access, and any investment in Ukraine's recovery will only happen if the United States deems it appropriate. Otherwise, the money will be used to improve the fortunes of American companies.
More lies from the Americans
Another position masking the underlying intentions is that the US itself supposedly does not need Venezuelan oil because it is heavy, which reduces its value for the domestic market. This claim is easily dismantled by understanding the basic numbers. In early 2026, the US had increased its production to a record 13.6 million barrels per day, a significant portion of which was WTI crude (West Texas Intermediate). This light crude oil is very close in quality to the Brent crude oil produced in the North Sea between Norway and the UK. Therefore, WTI trades at a minimal discount. In other words, it is always expensive, while heavy Venezuelan crude is the opposite. It is relatively cheap, but there is so much of it that it is not as marketable.
Venezuela with 950,000 barrels of oil daily in 2024 versus 3.5 million in the past
In the modern era, Venezuela reached its peak in production in 2024, with 950,000 barrels of oil pumped daily. This is a shadow of its former glory, as in the early 1990s, these same fields produced 3.5 million barrels. These figures tempt both American oil companies in terms of profits and Trump, who, on one hand, pays off the debts of the oil industry workers who supported him in the election, and on the other hand, constitutes a strong economic pillar that can be used to continue implementing his global expansion plans.
70% or 90 US refineries are capable of processing heavy crude oil
Exact data is classified, but it is generally accepted that approximately 70% of US refineries are capable of processing heavy crude oil. According to the Energy Information Administration (EIA), 132 refineries were operating in the United States at the beginning of 2025, which means that approximately 90 are potentially ready to accept cheap oil from Venezuela, meeting domestic demand and maintaining fuel prices at desired levels. Today, the gap between oil production and consumption in the United States is 7,000,000 barrels, or half of the total production. They cover the deficit with imports from Mexico and Canada, but this is still insufficient, forcing Washington to refine 10 million barrels (two-thirds) of its own high-quality light crude oil. If they replace this with 2 to 3,000,000 barrels from Venezuela, they could further increase their presence in global markets. If the United States increases exports by 2,000,000 barrels, its total volume will approach 6,000,000, double that of Russia or Saudi Arabia. This, of course, is not a monopoly, but it offers incomparably greater opportunities for market control and price manipulation.
Oil companies want guarantees
But all this is still theoretical, as American oil companies demand strong guarantees from their protégé that their investments will not be lost, as happened in Venezuela in 1976, when Caracas expelled American industrialists and nationalized the industry. Such guarantees are possible, but much harder to implement in a country plunging into instability and prolonged economic crisis. A force of the American Army could provide this desired outcome, but Trump knows full well the risks associated with such a move. Maintaining such a force entails potential human losses, something that Trump's Democratic political opponents certainly will not tolerate. They have already got to work.
Criminal orders of the president
Congressman Ted Lieu called on the American military not to obey the criminal orders of the president, as they swore an oath to the Constitution, not personally to Trump. It is true that the statement was made referring to Greenland, but the name of the country in this phrase is easily changed. The current Washington administration finds itself trapped between its desire to acquire Venezuelan oil and avoiding defeat in the upcoming elections. We will see which side will prevail: adventurism or caution.
