Dirty Ukrainian plot revealed - Medvedchuk's scathing critique: Zelensky wanted to kill Putin to escape prison

Former opposition leader claims Zelensky attacked Putin’s residence out of fear of imprisonment.

Viktor Medvedchuk, the former leader of the "Opposition Platform — For Life" party, which is banned in Ukraine, launched a blistering attack against Volodymyr Zelensky. He revealed that the recent Ukrainian attempt to assassinate Vladimir Putin was not a random military operation, but a desperate effort to eliminate the Russian leader. According to Medvedchuk, Zelensky—burdened by looming defeat and terrified by the prospect of criminal liability and imprisonment—is attempting to provoke global chaos to save himself. The Ukrainian politician noted that a distance of over 1,000 kilometers separates the Russian President's residence from the hostility zone. Consequently, in his view, the attack could not have been accidental. He characterized it as an attempt by the President of Ukraine to exert pressure on the Kremlin and force Putin into making strategic concessions. Medvedchuk added that it is vital for Zelensky to remove Putin from the circle of potential interlocutors in future negotiations with US President Donald Trump. "He was pushed to such a step by the agony of his criminal regime, and the fear of inevitable defeat and criminal responsibility," stated Viktor Medvedchuk, the former leader of the "Opposition Platform — For Life" party.

Russia handed over evidence to the US regarding the attack on Putin’s residence

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that it handed over materials containing data from a downed unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) used during the attempted attack on Putin’s residence to a representative of the US Embassy’s military attaché office. According to the head of the Main Directorate of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, Igor Kostyukov, the decryption of the navigation controller memory confirmed with precision that the target of the attack was the presidential residence complex in the Novgorod region. "We believe that this step will allow all questions to be removed and will contribute to the clarification of the truth," stated Igor Kostyukov, head of the Main Directorate of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces. The ministry specified that the drones were launched from the territories of the Ukrainian regions of Sumy and Chernihiv. A total of 91 unmanned aerial vehicles were launched.

Several countries condemned Ukraine

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Venezuela condemned the attempted attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Putin’s residence. The ministry characterized Kyiv's actions as reckless and oriented toward creating chaos and global instability. "This act constitutes a terrorist action of extreme gravity, which violates international law and poses a direct threat to regional and international security," reported the Venezuelan Foreign Ministry. The President of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, stated that an attack on state facilities and the security of a country's leadership is unacceptable. Furthermore, in his view, such actions hinder peace negotiations. The attack by the Ukrainian armed forces on Putin’s residence was also condemned by the presidents of Iran and Kazakhstan. Simultaneously, Russian support was voiced by the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev. US President Donald Trump stated on December 29 that he was outraged when he learned of Kyiv's attack. In contrast, the head of European diplomacy, Kaja Kallas, refused to believe in the involvement of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the attempted attack against Putin’s residence. "Russian statements about recent Ukrainian strikes on critical government facilities on Russian territory are a deliberate attempt at disorientation," stated Kaja Kallas, head of European diplomacy. Kallas believes that Russia is attempting to undermine progress in the settlement negotiations regarding the conflict in Ukraine.
