We saw it again in the early 1970s. We saw it again in the crash of 1987. Interest rates rose from 7% to over 10%… and that bubble burst. We had the emerging market debt problem in the early 1990s, Long-Term Capital in 1998, the Dot-Com bubble in 2000, and the Great Financial Crisis of 2007–2008.
All you need to do is look at a chart of bond yields and you will see that every time yields spiked, these bubbles burst. Right now, interest rates are spiking, and this is the biggest bubble. It is the everything bubble. Everything is a bubble. The only things that are not in a bubble are gold and silver, because they represent real money. I believe gold and silver reflect the risk of the debt structure collapsing. From a global perspective, countries are moving away from the dollar. They do not want to be trapped in the dollar system. The dollar is the global reserve currency, issued by an insolvent and bankrupt entity.
Higher interest rates—that is what is going to blow everything up. Higher interest rates."
Economic collapse
Mr. Gold says that interest rates can drop again, and very quickly, if the economy begins to collapse. He also states that the so-called "reset" you have been hearing about for years is real. It cannot be stopped, but it is a process that unfolds gradually until the very last moment. According to Holter: "The reset is not a button that gets pressed until the very, very last moment. And that very, very last moment will be a weekend, where you go to sleep on Friday and everything seems normal, and on Monday morning the entire world will have changed. [...] The rise in interest rates has happened hundreds of times in history. That is not the reset. The reset is when these rising interest rates affect the existing debt in the system, and that debt fails and collapses. Of course, you can add derivatives, and then the reset is essentially a complete elimination of wealth. It is the elimination of the population's wealth. Along with this comes the 'Great Taking.' They started enacting these laws in 2014, knowing that at some point there would be a massive asset grab. They made it legal for brokers, banks, and insurance companies to take customer assets [...] in order to save the companies. What does this mean for the population? The population is left with no property. If you do not protect yourself, you will be swept away by the wave of the Great Reset."
Deep State in control
Holter says that the "Deep State" wants absolute control, which is why there is a major push to move everything into digital format. Furthermore, buying gold and silver is not about making money, but about protecting purchasing powerand defending against the "Great Reset." Holter says: "If you lose 50%, you need to gain 100% just to get back to breakeven. This is not going to be a period where you lose 50% and then things start going up again. Because of the debt across the whole world, when debt collapses, the financial system will collapse as well. If there are counterparties between you and your capital, you will lose your capital. People ask: 'How much should I put into gold and silver?' and I say: 'Put in as much as you do not want to lose.' Gold and silver are the only money on the planet that cannot go bankrupt in a bankrupt world. If you had this mindset regarding gold since 2000, you would be far ahead of the rest compared to the S&P or DOW. There was no default risk whatsoever. When you bought gold, you achieved the highest return while taking on the lowest risk."
