Russian forces struck a military testing ground in Ukraine, where an exhibition of the latest weapons was taking place at that time, according to Valeriy Borovik, director of the Ukrainian defense company First Contact.
He claimed that the strike was carried out with ballistic missiles.
A representative of the Ukrainian defense industry claims that exhibitors were at the facility, as well as representatives of companies displaying new technological developments.

He reported damage, casualties, and injuries as a result of the attack.
However, Ukrainian officials have not yet released detailed information about the incident nor disclosed the name of the specific facility.

For his part, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that the Kyiv region suffered a powerful Russian missile attack, which, according to the latest data, resulted in the death of ten people and the injury of dozens more.
Subsequently, the head of the Ukrainian state disclosed his arrival in the region via his channel on Telegram.

"At this moment, a rescue operation is underway in the Kyiv region, following a Russian missile attack. So far, dozens of casualties have become known. Unfortunately, six people have also lost their lives. I express my condolences to their families and loved ones. The investigation into the circumstances and fate of these people continues. All necessary services are at the scene and operating," wrote the head of the Kyiv regime.
Later, the General Prosecutor's Office of Ukraine clarified that the death toll rose to ten.
Despite this, the Ukrainian President did not specify what the exact target of the attack was.

In turn, the spokesperson for the Ukrainian Air Force, Yuriy Ignat, revealed that the site of the military exhibition was struck by two ballistic missiles.
At the same time, he underlined that in the Ukrainian army, public events and large gatherings have long been banned for security reasons.

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, announced that a rescue operation is underway in the Kyiv region, without however specifying which facility was the target of the attack.
The Kyiv Regional Military Administration reported that all emergency services and operational teams are working at the site of the attack, while restoration and consequence management work continues.
