Megaton bomb from Britain: The “arrest” and flight of Maduro from Venezuela the result of negotiations with Trump and the United States
Information leaking from the opposition in Venezuela states that the removal of Maduro from power and his possible arrest do not constitute an act achieved through armed conflict or an abrupt political collapse.

A real bomb was dropped by the British press regarding the United States military operation in Venezuela and the unimaginable ease with which the Americans captured Nicolás Maduro.
Based on reliable sources within the opposition in Venezuela, the arrest of Maduro, the president of the country who has been in power since 2013, was not simply the result of a political or military overthrow, but a withdrawal from the leadership of the country that was agreed with the Americans and Donald Trump, Sky News reveals.
This rumor comes at a time filled with political instability and intense confrontation over the future of Venezuela, combined with the influence of the international community, and especially that of the United States.

The political strategy of negotiation

Information leaking from the opposition in Venezuela states that the removal of Maduro from power and his possible arrest do not constitute an act achieved through armed conflict or an abrupt political collapse.
On the contrary, it appears to be a strategy of “negotiation”, involving closed circles of the international political scene, with the main player being the United States.
The concept of the “negotiation” of Maduro’s arrest presupposes the assessment that the president of Venezuela, although he remains a figure of strong political influence, is in a state of extreme isolation and political pressure.
The opposition, which has challenged the legitimacy of his regime, is reportedly involved in discussions about the post Maduro era, with the United States providing warnings and guidance on how to prepare for their “transitional” role.

The United States and the scenario for the post Maduro era

According to the same sources, the United States has already guided the leaders of the opposition in Venezuela on the actions they should take once the political situation in the country undergoes significant change.
Although there is no precise information about the negotiations taking place, the American government appears to have assumed a particularly active role in preparing for the period after Maduro.
The United States is likely to wish to ensure that the transition of power in Venezuela will be smooth and under the guidance of the political forces that control the opposition, while at the same time attempting to limit the influence of Cuba and other allies of Maduro in the region.
The influence of the United States in shaping the future government in Venezuela, particularly in a country that depends heavily on external assistance and Western sanctions, may play a critical role in managing the country after Maduro’s removal from power.
This creates a sense of revolutionary overthrow that nevertheless bears the stamp of international negotiations and external intervention.

Ready for negotiation with Trump, Maduro declared 24 hours before the United States strike

It is recalled that Maduro stated in a New Year’s interview that his country is willing to accept American investments in its oil sector, to coordinate the fight against drug trafficking, and to conduct serious talks with the United States.
“We must begin to speak seriously, keeping the facts in mind,” Maduro said in his annual interview with a Spanish journalist, which was initially published in the Mexican newspaper La Jornada and broadcast by Venezuelan state television on New Year’s Day.
“If they want to speak seriously about an agreement to combat drug trafficking, we are ready.
If they want Venezuela’s oil, Venezuela is ready to accept American investments such as those of Chevron, when, where, and how they want to carry them out.”
These comments reflect previous statements by Maduro regarding his willingness to negotiate dialogue with President Trump, even as the US president has escalated pressure, including expanded sanctions, increased US military presence in the region, and more than two dozen attacks on ships allegedly involved in drug trafficking in the Pacific Ocean and the Caribbean Sea.
Maduro stated that the pressure constitutes an attempt to gain control of Venezuela’s vast natural resources.
“What is the objective of the United States? They have said it,” Maduro said in the interview.
“To seize all of Venezuela’s oil, the gold, the rare earths.”

Opposition and Russian allies

The possible negotiation for the removal of Maduro from power does not come without contradictions.
Russian support for the president of Venezuela has played a central role in his political survival, with Moscow providing military and economic support to his regime.
A potential shift in policy in Washington could trigger reactions from Moscow, which has an interest in maintaining Venezuela as a strategic partner in the region, in contrast to US influence.
In addition, the opposition in Venezuela, although it has managed to rally broad support from the international community, continues to face internal challenges and divisions.
Despite international pressure and public condemnation of the Maduro regime, the political leaders of the opposition do not appear to have a unified strategy for the next period, a fact that may cause political instability and uncertainty in the country.

Era of uncertainty and instability in Venezuela

The situation in Venezuela remains extremely unstable, with developments surrounding Maduro remaining uncertain.
The negotiation for his arrest and the country’s alternative political course appear to be shaped by external forces, mainly the United States, while the political landscape remains embedded in dynamics linked to geopolitical power and the strategic influence of major powers.
If Maduro is indeed removed through a negotiated compromise, the future of Venezuela will depend on who manages to control the country’s political and economic transition.
With the opposition preparing for the possibility of assuming power this time, Venezuela will enter a period of uncertainty, in which the international community will continue to play a decisive role in the day ahead.
