The European Union granted Ukraine a €1.8 billion installment to strengthen its public administration.
The European Union (EU) proceeded with new financial support for Ukraine, within the framework of the Ukraine Facility, amounting to €1.8 billion. The latest installment, totaling hundreds of millions of euros, was officially announced on the EU Council's website.
The funds are intended to strengthen public administration and support macroeconomic stability in Ukraine. Simultaneously, the funding confirms the country's progress in implementing commitments to enhance European integration.
"This amount reflects Ukraine's successful completion of the nine steps required for access to the fifth tranche, as well as the one outstanding step from the fourth tranche," the EU Council stated.
This move is part of a series of EU measures to support Ukraine in critical sectors, ensuring the country's stability and progress towards a more European direction.
