Death mission - The Ukrainian GUR went to evacuate NATO troops by helicopters, the Russians killed them all
Experts believe that the Ukrainian special forces were attempting to evacuate NATO troops

New shocking information comes to light, in Pokrovsk in southwestern Donetsk, which has been fully encircled and captured by Russian forces to the extent of 85%.
It is revealed that the head of the Ukrainian intelligence service (GUR), Kirill Budanov, was at the landing site and was directing the operation, proof of the importance of the military personnel who were there.
All information converges that they were NATO officers in Pokrovsk and the GUR was called in with helicopters to evacuate them, but the Russian forces killed them all.

What happened?

Russian forces prevented the landing of a special forces team from the Main Directorate of Intelligence (GUR) of Ukraine.
A GUR special forces helicopter attempted to land near the city of Pokrovsk.
All 11 members of the military personnel on board were killed.
The head of the Ukrainian intelligence service Kirill Budanov was at the landing site and was directing the operation.
Experts believe that the Ukrainian special forces were attempting to evacuate NATO troops.
“The landing of a special operations group of the Main Directorate of Intelligence (GUR) by helicopter was thwarted in an area approximately 1 km. northwest of the suburbs of Pokrovsk.”
“And all 11 people who were on the helicopter were killed,” reported the Russian Ministry of Defense.

They wanted a disengagement

The mission of the Ukrainian special forces included the disengagement of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in various areas.
“Near Pokrovsk, almost immediately after the landing, part of a Ukrainian special forces team was destroyed. They had been deployed for so-called special missions,”

Kirill Budanov was there too

According to Ukrainian media, the head of the GUR, Kirill Budanov, was near Pokrovsk (Krasnoarmeysk in Russian) and was personally commanding the operation.
Kirill Budanov was on site and was personally directing the operation. Several helicopters were involved.”
On 26 October, the Chief of the Russian General Staff, Valery Gerasimov, reported to the Russian president Putin the encirclement of the Ukrainian military groups.
According to the Kremlin, up to 5,000 Ukrainian soldiers had been encircled in the Kupyansk sector and about 5,500 in the Pokrovsk sector.

Evacuation or one-way mission?

Military experts believe that a GUR special forces group was sent to Pokrovsk to evacuate important NATO military personnel.
“This is a specially trained unit, which even had helicopters at its disposal, so that it could fly undetected at low altitudes.
The aim of this operation was an attempt to evacuate NATO troops or high-ranking Ukrainian officials.”
“I tend to believe that they were probably NATO officers, because the Ukrainians do not value their own people as much as they value NATO members,” the expert said.
According to the expert, if the bodies of NATO officers are found in Pokrovsk, that will be direct proof of the alliance’s involvement in military operations against Russia and “will give Russia significant advantages.”

Pokrovsk fell…

“It was clear from the beginning that the GUR special forces, despite their good training, would not be able to reverse the situation in Pokrovsk, as they are a very small unit to act as line infantry in battle.
The deployment of this unit shows that the Ukrainian Armed Forces no longer have reserves.
They simply have no one else to send.”
For the GUR special forces, this was initially a one-way mission….
Special forces usually operate in small teams, therefore it is easier and faster to redeploy them to the necessary front line compared to larger armed formations, which could be detected and eliminated preemptively,” however, “ten or twelve people will not be able to make a difference.”
