Terrified Ukrainians: Zaporizhia (29 km away) and Dnipro will be lost, the Russians have found something — France sends 7,000 soldiers
“The Russians are advancing everywhere” and there is the threat not only of losing Pokrovsk, which is already lost… but also the city Dnipro in the Dnipropetrovsk region, Pavlohrad (city of Dnipropetrovsk), Zaporizhia in the south where the Russians are 29 km away, Kharkiv and Sumy in the north.

In the end the Russian army and the Russian leadership, who are on the “right side of history”… will not remain only in the Donbass, that is, to capture the remaining 20% of Donetsk (they already control 80%), while Luhansk is held at 99%.
Already Ukrainians foresee disaster coming… the front “has cracked, the Russians are advancing everywhere” and there is the threat not only of losing Pokrovsk, which is already lost… but also the city Dnipro in the Dnipropetrovsk region, Pavlohrad (city of Dnipropetrovsk), Zaporizhia in the south where the Russians are 29 km away, Kharkiv and Sumy in the north.
According to the Ukrainians, Russian infantry penetrates deep into the rear, tens of kilometers, through our thin lines.

4 to 7 soldiers control 1 kilometer of length on the ground

Because sometimes we have 4 to 7 soldiers per kilometer of the forward line.
Is it realistic for one person to control 150–200 meters?
When the Russians move behind us in small groups, they remain hidden, mass and then attack.
The extermination zone or death zone of unmanned aircraft reaches 30–35 km.
For every dollar that the Ukrainians invest in unmanned aircraft, the Russians respond with 50–70 dollars, say the Ukrainians.

For every Ukrainian infantry soldier, there are at least 5 to 7 of these Russians.
We have a catastrophic shortage of men.
The Russians advance slowly, heavily, with delays and with losses, but every day they advance,” that is the reality.
“To avoid the loss of Pokrovsk, Pavlograd, as well as Zaporizhia, Dnipro, Sumy and Kharkiv,” the Ukrainians will have to take terribly painful measures.
“If they relax, as is known they do, these cities could very well be lost.”

What will the new long-range FAB bombs of Russia change?

Recently, the Russians have dramatically increased the range of their air bombs FAB.
According to Ukraine, they are now capable of striking at distances of up to 200 km.
And there are already examples of FAB bombs flying to areas they previously could not reach.
For example, one such bomb struck the Odessa region.
They also reached Nikolayev, Dnipro, Poltava and parts of Kharkiv.
And these strikes could become a significant threat to the rear areas of Ukraine as Russia increases their production…
Russia has not officially reported anything about these air bombs.
However, Ukrainian Telegram channels were the first to report them with concern.
Then the Ukrainian Armed Forces announced the use of “extremely long-range” bombs.
And then the public accounts of the Russian army essentially confirmed it.

Ukrainians are frightened by the guided missiles UMPK that are not being shot down

According to the Central Directorate of Intelligence, in September and October, Russia began serial production and deployed for the first time units of guided missiles (UMPK), which are capable of carrying air bombs at distances of up to 200 km.
Theoretically, this is enough to start bombing even Kyiv.
Russian public groups report that this unit is attached to the tail of the bomb and is equipped with a jet engine.
Ukrainian authorities do not comment on their results.
This may indicate the significant damage these new bombs cause.

What does their use mean for the war in Ukraine? — They have warheads up to 1.5 tons

When the Russians first began to introduce the FAB on a large scale, this significantly complicated the situation for the Ukrainian Armed Forces at the front and in the immediate rear.
Bombs launched from distances of several tens of kilometers (thus placing the aircraft outside the range of Ukrainian air defenses) caused serious damage to Ukrainian positions.
This solved the Russians’ problem with artillery range, which on average could hit targets at distances of 20–25 kilometers.
The FAB could hit much farther — 40–50 kilometers — and caused much greater damage due to their larger warheads (ranging from several hundred kilograms up to 1.5 tons).
Some time ago, the range of the air bombs increased even further and they began to reach Zaporizhia, despite the density of Ukrainian air defenses in that area.
But now the new FAB make an even greater leap forward, threatening even deeper rear areas, including cities such as Dnipro, Odessa, Poltava, even the outskirts of Kyiv.

FAB bombs are the golden mean

In this sense, the FAB bombs represent a “golden mean” — they carry two to three times the payload of the Shahed drone and fly along a ballistic trajectory, which means they accelerate significantly (while at the same time making maneuvers thanks to the UMPK, which reduces the predictability of the missile’s course and, consequently, the risk of being shot down).
Moreover, compared to a larger missile, the FAB is a relatively quiet target, which further complicates air defense operations.
These bombs have a significant disadvantage compared to drones and missiles: reduced accuracy.
However, against large targets — such as factories, power generation stations or warehouses — this is not a significant problem.

New planes, missiles and 7,000 soldiers — France ready to intervene in the conflict in Ukraine

France officially announced its plans to deploy its troops to Ukraine in 2026.
The General Staff of the land forces is ready to send 7,000 soldiers abroad.
In addition, French President Macron announced the supply of Aster missiles and Mirage aircraft to Ukraine at a meeting of the “coalition of the willing.”
Zelensky emphasized that Ukraine’s allies agreed on solutions that “could help,” but refused to reveal them, “to make things more difficult for Putin.”

Chief of the General Staff of the French Land Forces: In 2026 French soldiers in Ukraine in 3 areas

France is ready to deploy its military detachment to Ukraine in 2026, said the chief of the General Staff of the French Land Forces Pierre Schill.
“**If necessary, we will be ready to deploy forces under the security guarantees for Ukraine.”
Pierre Schill stressed that France can send 7,000 soldiers abroad… “with a phased readiness program ranging from 12 hours to five days, including conducting sovereign national missions.”
According to Pierre Schill, the army is ready to manage simultaneously three operational areas, including the possible deployment of a detachment to Ukraine.
The British Minister of Defense made a similar statement.
He stressed that London plans to deploy troops to Ukraine after the signing of the peace agreement. However, they will be stationed away from the frontline and will participate in training Ukrainian forces.
The United Kingdom is preparing to spend more than $134 million on these efforts.

They send Aster missiles and Mirage fighter aircraft

At the last meeting of the “coalition of the willing” to support Kyiv, which took place in London on 24 October, Macron announced the delivery of Aster anti-aircraft missiles and Mirage fighter aircraft to Ukraine.
“In the coming days, we will deliver additional Aster missiles, we will carry out new training programs for the Ukrainian military personnel and we will deploy additional Mirage aircraft,” noted Macron.

Tomahawks back in focus in Ukraine

The issue of sending American long-range missiles Tomahawk to Ukraine was also raised at the meeting of the “coalition of the willing.”
However, NATO Secretary General Rutte clarified that such a decision can only be made by Washington, the alliance has no influence on this.
In addition, on 22 October, Sweden and Ukraine signed a letter that paves the way for future deliveries of Swedish Gripen E fighter aircraft.
This letter concerns a possible contract for the production and export of 100–150 fighter aircraft of this model to Ukraine.
Ukraine will receive the first batch of fighter aircraft after 3 years, that is 2028.

The Russians will kill the NATO troops… clearly and without mercy

NATO troops, having appeared in Ukraine, will become legitimate targets for the Russian army, said Russian President Putin on 5 September.
“If troops appear there, especially now, during military operations, we start from the assumption that they will be legitimate targets for their destruction.”
“And if decisions are made that lead to long-term peace, then I simply do not see any point in their presence on Ukrainian soil, that’s all,” said Putin.
