Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated that he discussed with his American counterpart, Marco Rubio, the current situation and how the next meeting between Presidents Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump could be prepared.
"We discussed with Marco Rubio the situation, how things stand at the moment, and how we can prepare a meeting between the Presidents of Russia and the United States, which the US President proposed to hold in Budapest," Lavrov said, noting that Russia maintains the same position that was agreed upon during the talks between Presidents Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump in Alaska.
