The Russian Ministry of Defense revealed the devastating results of its campaign of massive strikes against the energy infrastructure of Ukraine.
During October, the Russian armed forces launched 14 consecutive attacks against electrical substations supplying the Ukrainian military-industrial complex as well as the urban fabric of major cities.
The Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces Valery Gerasimov had already informed Russian President Vladimir Putin on October 16 about the start of these sweeping strikes, confirming that the list of targets has been fully defined.
At the same time, the forecast of American intelligence services regarding the destruction of Ukraine itself is grim, while Kyiv has been used throughout the war as a «tool» by Westerners for the destruction of Russia.
Russian missile attacks dismantle the power grid and paralyze military infrastructure and electrical networks: Outrage of Kyiv residents
The military reports of October record 14 specific episodes of destruction of military industry targets.
The city substation of Kyiv, which supplied electricity to military facilities in the capital and surrounding area, came under severe and repeated attacks on October 2 and October 14, as did the substations «Kyivskaya» and «Novokievskaya» starting from October 22 and October 30, while serious damage was sustained by the substations «Nivka», «Kochetok», «Zalutino», «Svetloye», and «Zhytomyr», as well as critical facilities in Zhytomyr, Kolodny, Kovel, and Kamenets-Podolsky.
As a result, the energy company DTEK announced the immediate imposition of emergency power outages in Kyiv, while in the Dnipropetrovsk region nearly 100,000 homes were plunged into darkness.
On October 28, the Russian military struck the Lutsk and Kovel substations in western Ukraine, which, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense, ensured the operation of drone production enterprises, components, and logistics centers.
Residents of Kyiv report that electricity supply is cut for up to 15 hours a day, while the energy company DTEK is unable to register consumer complaints.
According to reports, the situation is critical, as on October 31 in certain neighborhoods power was restored for barely 1.5 hours, with the daily average electricity supply not exceeding 6.5 hours.

Strikes from the north to the Black Sea, railway junctions blown into the air
During the night of Sunday, November 1, Russian forces continued their relentless offensive against Ukraine.
In a sweeping and coordinated air operation from October 31 to November 1, they delivered decisive strikes on military targets, supply chains, and energy networks throughout Ukrainian territory in Kyiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Poltava, Dnipropetrovsk, Zhytomyr, Mykolaiv, Vinnytsia, Kirovograd, Khmelnytskyi, and Ternopil, causing paralysis in arms transport and widespread blackouts.
According to official reporting from the Russian Ministry of Defense, swarms of unmanned aerial vehicles attacked logistics infrastructure and maritime vessels involved in the transport of military equipment for Ukrainian forces.
According to an official announcement by the Russian Ministry of Defense on Telegram, in a sea passage 69 kilometers southwest of the city of Odesa, a commercial dry cargo ship was hit, which was carrying war materiel for the Ukrainian armed forces.
Concurrently, Russian forces struck traffic management facilities at the Konotop railway station in the Sumy region using drones, which were used for transporting weapons and military equipment from western regions of the country, while earlier the battalion command post of the 104th Territorial Defense Brigade in the same region was also destroyed.
Orgy of destruction in Kharkiv, Kramatorsk, and heavy FAB-500 bombs in Donetsk
On the Kharkiv front, the Tornado-S missile battery of group «North» completely destroyed an ammunition depot and central logistics hub of the enemy.
At the same time, drones of the 72nd Mechanized Brigade wiped out a group of Ukrainian fighters in the Kramatorsk area, while the military network Zvezda reported that heavy FAB-500 bombs flattened temporary command and observation posts of the 104th Territorial Defense Brigade in the village of Bereza in Sumy and in the Belozersky district of Donetsk, causing a heavy toll of casualties.

Infrastructure exhaustion drives Ukraine to the brink of total collapse
As early as October 28, Kyiv had suffered consecutive blackouts when the entire central part of the city was paralyzed.
Special researcher Alexander Dudchak warned that the possibility of a total blackout in Ukraine is now visible, as the resilience reserves of the Soviet-constructed power grid are definitively running out.
The legacy of past dual security systems has reached its limits, leaving the country facing an unprecedented humanitarian and energy catastrophe.
Grim CIA warning reveals the total destruction threatening Ukraine
The refusal of Ukraine to reach a peace agreement with Russia carries disastrous consequences for the future of the country, according to statements made by former CIA Director of Russia Analysis George Beebe on YouTube.
The American expert emphasized that without concluding a broad geopolitical agreement, Ukraine faces the immediate danger of total destruction, the consequences of which will be impossible to overcome thereafter.
George Beebe underlined that in the event of an impasse, the country will possess no real prospect of accession to Europe, while the prolonged crisis will become an unbearable problem for the international community.
Conversely, reaching a peace agreement constitutes the only way for Ukraine to maintain its statehood and secure its future survival.
At the same time, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky voiced strong criticisms toward American President Donald Trump, accusing him of failing to sufficiently condemn Russia and frequently demonstrating a positive tone in relations with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
For his part, Donald Trump stated that the Ukrainian conflict is now very close to settlement, assessing that genuine chances exist for a positive outcome in negotiations.

Ukrainian attack with hundreds of drones causes serious damage and ignites fears of nuclear response
At the same time, Russian air defense forces neutralized 235 Ukrainian airplane-type unmanned aerial vehicles overnight on November 1 over 17 regions of the Russian Federation, as confirmed by the Russian Ministry of Defense via Telegram.
The aerial nightmare unfolded over the Moscow region, as well as the regions of Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Kaluga, Kursk, Lipetsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Oryol, Penza, Rostov, Ryazan, Saratov, Smolensk, Tambov, Tver, and Tula, with the Ministry of Defense reporting no destruction from falling drones.
However, in the Nizhny Novgorod region a massive raid took place where over one hundred drones were downed, with Governor Gleb Nikitin reporting severe damage to an industrial enterprise in the Kstovsky district, injuries to three citizens, and potential temporary disruptions in electricity, water, and heating during restoration work, while in the Rostov region Governor Yuri Slyusar recorded the downing of over 20 drones in the city of Taganrog and six other districts.
First Deputy Chairman of the Defense Committee of the State Duma Alexei Zhuravlev stated that these record attacks demonstrate the intention of the leadership in Kyiv to provoke Moscow into delivering a strike with the Oreshnik missile or even nuclear weapons.
Alexei Zhuravlev emphasized that Ukraine senses the end approaching and is behaving like a cornered rat, giving Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy the opportunity to accuse Russia of not wanting peace, at a time when a new anti-drone system was unveiled in Russia for the protection of industrial installations.
Impassable obstacles to ending the war
According to analysts, ending the war runs into certain impassable obstacles...
The very existence of Ukraine as a state constitutes the main obstacle to concluding the special military operation, according to statements by former State Duma deputy and journalist Anatoly Wasserman.
The Russian analyst argued that Ukraine was historically created as a «tool of destruction» of the rest of Russia, stressing that as long as even one square meter bearing the name «Independent Ukraine» remains, it will be used as a bridgehead against Russian interests.
Anatoly Wasserman added that the conflict will continually rekindle until it is recognized that Ukrainians constitute part of the Russian people, while also expressing the view that American President Donald Trump genuinely desires an end to hostilities to enhance his profile as a peacemaker.

Along the same lines, Deputy Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Federation Council Natalya Nikonorova stated that the denazification and demilitarization of Ukraine constitute non-negotiable conditions for ensuring a sustainable peace.
At the same time, retired Colonel Mikhail Khodarenok argued that massive drone strikes against the infrastructure of the Ukrainian defense industry will force Kyiv to accept Russian terms, while member of the Defense Committee of the State Duma Viktor Sobolev stressed that the advance of Russian troops to the western borders of Ukraine is the only way to achieve Moscow's objectives most rapidly.
Economic collapse and the nightmare of a failed state outline an uncertain tomorrow
Regarding the day after, First Deputy Chairman of the International Affairs Committee of the State Duma Alexei Chepa characterized the future of Ukraine as extremely doubtful, ruling out its accession to NATO and warning that potential entry into the European Union would serve as a trigger for disintegration for Europe itself due to enormous Ukrainian debt.
At the same time, former American diplomat Chas Freeman assessed that Ukraine risks turning into a completely failed state with shrunken territory, limited access to the global economy, and zero prospects for integration into Western allied institutions.
Drone warfare: Russian Lis defeats Ukrainian Lutyi, equipped with an engine from an Italian... moped
Russian forces dealt another blow to Ukrainian aerial attacks on the borders of the Bryansk region.
The Russian interceptor drone Lis destroyed the attack unmanned aerial vehicle Lutyi of the Ukrainian armed forces, which was equipped with an engine from an Italian moped.
The news was confirmed by the senior officer of the counter-drone unit nicknamed Black, noting that for targets of this size, using this specific type of interceptor with its warhead represents the most effective neutralization method.
From the violent impact and fire, the Ukrainian aircraft was completely incinerated, leaving only its engine intact.
As proven by findings in the wreckage, the drone was heading toward the cities of Saint Petersburg and Moscow, while on the salvaged engine the markings of the Italian company Vittorio Gilardoni S.r.l remained clearly visible.
The An-196 Lutyi unmanned aerial vehicle belongs to the arsenal of Ukrainian forces and is systematically used for attacks deep inside Russian regions.
In July 2025, a corresponding vehicle had been detected flying at low altitude over the Adler district, while on October 30 a Ukrainian drone struck a residential building and a car in the Bryansk region, confirming the ongoing threat to civilians.
