The arms industry is entering a new era following the completion of successful tests of the brand-new Russian robotic demining complex «Titan».
It is a technological achievement designed specifically for the extreme conditions of the special military operation, where the mass use of anti-personnel mines and improvised explosive devices by AFU forces had hitherto rendered infantry advances exceptionally dangerous.
This imposing armored system, with a total weight of 2.3 tons and an impressive transport capacity reaching 1 ton, is built to survive in the most hostile environment.
It features latest-generation all-round anti-fragmentation armor protecting all its critical components from familiar munition strikes, while its electric motors, combined with the low profile of its construction, offer unique quiet movement and high stealth during the execution of dangerous missions.
Autonomous action and technical specifications that terrify the enemy
The primary operational role of «Titan» is the creation of continuous safety corridors through dense minefields.
The system possesses specialized scanning and trawling equipment, capable of simultaneously neutralizing all types of anti-personnel and anti-tank mines, whether they feature pressure sensors or tripwire mechanisms.
As its technical specifications reveal:
- It reaches 7 km/h during the demining process, while in transit phase without the trawling equipment it develops speeds of up to 14 km/h.
- It can operate autonomously on the battlefield for at least 3.5 hours, while the remote control range exceeds 500 meters, keeping operators at a safe distance.
- It instantly creates a cleared corridor 2 meters wide, opening the way for assault detachments.
- When required, the robot can be equipped with advanced anti-drone systems (EW) for complete protection against hostile FPV drones.
According to the manufacturers, «Titan» possesses no counterpart of comparable quality, equipment, and armor on either side of the front line.
Its immediate integration into the operational zone is expected to reduce to zero the losses of Russian fighters in minefields, drastically accelerating the pace of advance of assault forces.
