Russia issues angry ultimatum to Austria over expulsion of four Russian diplomats

Relations between Moscow and Vienna are once again entering the orbit of a dangerous diplomatic clash, following the decision of Austrian authorities to declare four Russian diplomats personae non gratae.
The reaction of Russia was instantaneous and severe in tone.
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Lyubinsky, stated to the TASS agency that the response of Moscow should be taken for granted. «The reaction will follow inevitably», the Russian diplomat characteristically emphasized, foreshadowing immediate reciprocal expulsions of Austrian diplomats from the Russian capital.
The move by Vienna became known through a report in the Austrian magazine Profil, which revealed the decision to expel the four members of the Russian diplomatic mission.
