Fiery poll: Samaras and Kasidiaris push Mitsotakis toward the exit — ND's true percentage at 26%

Fiery poll: Samaras and Kasidiaris push Mitsotakis toward the exit — ND's true percentage at 26%
The Prime Minister understands that the percentages presented in published polls do not correspond to what is occurring in society

The indirect admission by Mitsotakis in his recent interview that he will step down from the leadership of New Democracy (ND) if the party tumbles to 25% has opened the discussion for the next day within the party as well as for the next government. Kyriakos Mitsotakis is sending a message to potential aspirants or interested figures that the party stands at 26-27% and that he does not intend to leave if it drops from its 2024 European election performance, namely 28.3%. Why, however, send a message?

Leaks everywhere

The Prime Minister understands that the percentages presented in published polls do not correspond to what is occurring in society. They are purposely provided to keep the ND party apparatus alive and to prevent leaks. The reality, however, is as follows: ND has lost massive demographic groups that once trusted it. If we extrapolate from a poll in Crete, we will see that 50% of farmers have abandoned the governing party. Younger voters do not prefer ND; however, they remain an uncertain group because they are inconsistent at the ballot box. Traditional right-wing voters who are dissatisfied with policies and directions (such as immigration, the woke agenda, concessions on national issues, and the influx of far-center former "To Potami" figures into ND) now have alternative options and will activate them at the elections.

What an independent pollster asserts regarding ND's figures

There is a statement and assessment from an independent pollster (who shortly will conduct a new poll of his own to be presented first by BN) stating that ND will drop even lower in voting intention (specifically pointing to 23%) once the Samaras party and the Greek Alliance party (Kasidiaris) are officially included in polling measurements. Therefore, great caution is needed regarding opinion polls. Samaras, for his part, waits patiently for major and serious errors by ND on national issues; October 26, the day the deployment of polls begins, will mark the start of fierce opposition from the former Prime Minister, who has drafted candidate lists and identified key figures, knowing full well that the moment he announces a party, he will face an unrelenting assault from the Maximos system, media outlets, and pollsters aimed at curbing the exposure of his positions and influence.

Did they suddenly fall in love with Kasidiaris?

Has anyone considered why they are suddenly promoting I. Kasidiaris so heavily? Did they fall in love with him? A Sunday newspaper places him at 11%... Evidently, he maintains influence among voters and strong percentages; however, the underlying purpose is to discourage A. Samaras or to trim his figures through the suppression of his platform. This is roughly what transpired with M. Karystianou, except that she proved politically unprepared in terms of positions, despite her untarnished political profile. Except Samaras holds established positions and features credible individuals in key posts…
