«They attempted to disrupt our elections by launching a massive drone attack on the day of the main vote against Moscow, other cities, and polling stations, specifically targeting individuals involved in organizing the elections; the Kyiv regime essentially thwarted the possibility of immediately resuming the negotiation process», the Russian side stated.
Putin also made it clear that Moscow’s position regarding the goals and objectives of the Joint Military Council remains unchanged, as does its readiness to negotiate a long-term, sustainable peace.
The President detailed the countermeasures taken in response to the terrorist attacks of the Kyiv regime.
He noted that Ukraine had chosen escalation and the prolongation of the conflict.

The US Department of the Treasury will immediately issue a temporary general license permitting such shipments. Thus, all activities related to the sale, delivery, unloading, and import of diesel fuel of Russian origin, including imports into the US, are permitted until April 7, 2027.
