Michael Saylor: "A big new move is coming" - The mysterious message regarding a new Bitcoin purchase by Strategy

Michael Saylor:
It is interesting to note that Saylor's new tease arrives during September, a month historically characterized as bearish for the cryptocurrency market

Michael Saylor's Strategy is preparing to push the Bitcoin buying button once again, despite pressures and growing criticism surrounding its relentless accumulation strategy of the leading cryptocurrency. On September 20, Saylor returned with one of his trademark cryptic posts on X, publishing a historical chart of Strategy's Bitcoin acquisitions accompanied by the phrase "A little more orange." Based on past patterns, this specific social media post serves as a clear hint that Strategy plans to add even more Bitcoin to its already massive reserve.Strategy_X.webp

This announcement followed Strategy's sale of 6,919 BTC during July and August 2026. However, the company's recent purchase of 4,603 BTC for approximately $369.7 million—at an average price of $80,318 per Bitcoin—brought its total holdings up to 845,050 BTC. Consequently, Strategy now controls approximately 4.02% of the total Bitcoin supply, which is permanently capped at 21 million coins.

Is Strategy defying the September Bitcoin drop? It is interesting to note that Saylor's new tease arrives during September, a month historically characterized as bearish for crypto. However, given the persistent "buy the dip" strategy Strategy has pursued for years, the firm appears to be moving against September's traditional seasonal weakness. This trend is also supported by recent analysis from AMBCrypto, which noted that Bitcoin's September downturn was particularly pronounced from 2017 to 2022. Over recent years, however, this pattern began to weaken, as September posted positive returns in 2023, 2024, and 2025 respectively.
