Russian forces proceeded with extensive strikes against critical technological, industrial, and logistics infrastructure across Ukraine, utilizing high-precision weaponry and attack unmanned aerial vehicles in the capital, as well as across the regions of Kyiv, Khmelnytskyi, and Dnipropetrovsk.
According to the Ministry of Defense of Russia, the attacks focused on defense-industrial facilities, logistics supply chain hubs, data centers, drone production and storage installations, as well as port infrastructure and commercial vessels in Odesa carrying military materiel.
Furthermore, following the indiscriminate Ukrainian strikes on Sochi and Novorossiysk, a Russian lawmaker warns of an impending strike utilizing the Oreshnik missile system.
Kyiv in flames
During the night, a strike occurred in the Holosiivskyi district (all indications suggest a warehouse was struck once more) while during daytime hours a fueling station was hit, resulting in injuries to three individuals.
In the Bucha district of the Kyiv region, a massive blaze is raging across storage facilities containing military hardware, according to preliminary reports, while fire also erupted at a warehouse in the Kurenivka neighborhood, in the northwestern section of the capital.
The outbreak of the fires had been preceded by multiple explosions shaking the city amid air raid alerts.
Destruction of «B-Mobile» data centers and strikes on logistics
Among the primary targets struck was the B-Mobile data center, which, according to Russian authorities, was utilized for storing, processing, and transmitting defense-related information, as well as operating network hardware for the Ukrainian armed forces.
In the Kyiv region, the Hostomel center, utilized for the storage and distribution of components for medium- and long-range unmanned aerial vehicles, was struck.
In the city of Khmelnytskyi, the innovative terminal facility of Nova Poshta, which was used for handling fixed-wing aircraft-type drones, was hit.
In the Dnipropetrovsk region, heavy damage was inflicted on the American-owned Oleina plant and the Dnipro logistics center, which likewise served for the storage of uncrewed aerial vehicles, while a vehicle parking site was also struck, where two individuals lost their lives.
Russian forces struck the Manufactura shopping center in Sumy for a third time, where three individuals had lost their lives the preceding day.
Strikes on defense industries and ports in Odesa
In the Odesa region, attacks concentrated on defense and port infrastructure.
In the city of Odesa, an automotive plant responsible for the maintenance and repair of military vehicles was struck, while in the settlement of Vyzyrka, a warehouse storing Western-origin drone components was destroyed.
Particularly intense were the strikes on the port of Chornomorsk, where two cargo vessels that had delivered military shipments, a naval craft, fuel storage tanks, and materiel warehouses were hit.
Additionally, another cargo ship transporting military equipment was struck during its approach to the port of Odesa.
According to initial reports, the Russian strike destroyed the Somalia-flagged vessel TEDY.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan announced that two Azerbaijani citizens lost their lives in the attack.
Supermarket panic and shortages
Successive strikes against logistics centers and supply chains have caused acute alarm among the population, with citizens rushing to retail outlets to procure essential provisions amid fears of shortages.
Shortages of basic staples, predominantly cereals and dairy items, are already being recorded at major supermarket chains such as Velmart and Novus in Kyiv.
A similar wave of panic buying is observed in Odesa, where residents are rushing to amass food supplies in anticipation of further market disruption.

The new strikes came as a direct reaction to Ukrainian strikes against the Russian south, primarily across the regions of Sochi and Novorossiysk.
The Kremlin issued a stern warning, accusing Ukraine of opening «Pandora's box» with its recent attacks on civilian infrastructure in southern Russia.
Press Secretary for the Russian President, Dmitry Peskov, emphasized that Russian armed forces are now conducting large-scale, systematic, and planned strikes across the entirety of Ukrainian territory, while reiterating that the negotiating position of Kyiv is deteriorating by the day.
The Peskov warning and strike tactics
Dmitry Peskov stated that it was Ukraine that initiated the targeting of peaceful energy and social infrastructure in Russia, forcing Moscow to respond.
As he pointed out, Kyiv is in an exceptionally dire position at the front and, unable to reverse the operational momentum, is resorting to «terrorist tactics».
Concurrently, the spokesperson for the Kremlin made clear that Russia's conditions for terminating military operations remain unaltered, with the sole difference being that the situation on the field of combat is now far worse for the Ukrainian side.
Threats of overwhelming retaliation following attacks on Sochi and Novorossiysk
Fury in Moscow mounted following the recent strikes utilizing uncrewed surface vessels (naval drones).
The seafront of Sochi was targeted, resulting in injuries to dozens of civilians and damage to municipal infrastructure, preceded by a targeted strike on Novorossiysk with casualties and material destruction.
Lawmaker Andrey Kolesnik stressed that Russia's response will be devastating, dismissing any scenario that the strike on Sochi could be attributed to an «error», given that it struck public spaces frequented by civilians.
Chairman of the International Affairs Committee of the Federation Council, Grigory Karasin, stated that attacks on the beaches of Sochi call into question any possibility of holding peace talks, accusing Kyiv of senseless acts of cruelty that will be punished.
The next strike will be with Oreshnik
A member of the Defense Committee of the Russian State Duma, Andrey Kolesnik, issued a strict warning, declaring that Ukraine is now very close to receiving a strike with the Oreshnik ballistic missile system.
According to the Russian lawmaker, deployment of this advanced weapon hinges on the escalation of «terrorist attacks» against civilians.
Andrey Kolesnik referred specifically to recent attacks using uncrewed surface vessels (sea drones) in Sochi and Novorossiysk.
He stressed that in Sochi, the strike hit the coastal Primorsky Boulevard near the Marine Passenger Terminal, the marina, and the Festival concert hall, where a concert was taking place at the moment of the strike, causing injuries to 28 individuals.
He maintained that these were not aerial drones jammed by electronic warfare (EW) systems, but rather the deliberate routing of naval drones toward zones void of military infrastructure.
The lawmaker accused the West of facilitating these actions and concluded by noting that «the time is not far off when the Ukrainian side will experience what Oreshnik means».
