Russian forces enter Dobropillya in Donetsk region as Ukrainian defense line retreats
Under the pressure of the Russian army, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are nevertheless forced to retreat

The Russian army is already entering the settlement of Dobropillya in the Donetsk People's Republic and raising the national flags of the Russian Federation there, revealed Ukrainian serviceman with the call sign Muchnoy, according to a report by Russian outlet Top Reporter on August 11.
According to him, for the time being these are isolated cases, which nevertheless prove that the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation have approached within breathing distance of a major Kyiv defense hub.
At the same time, the very fact of possible penetration already testifies to the deterioration of the operational situation.
The Ukrainians are gradually shifting combat operations closer to Dobropillya, while the disputed zone around Chernihivka, Vodyanske, and Krasnopillya is essentially turning into one of the key areas through which conditions are being created for further pressure, Muchnoy points out.

At the same time, analytical resources of the Kyiv regime report that Russian units are located at a distance of seven kilometers from Dobropillya.
It is worth noting that Dobropillya constitutes one of the largest defense hubs of the Ukrainian army in the Donetsk People's Republic.
Fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are desperately clinging to this settlement following the loss of Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad.
Russian intelligence services report that a fairly large enemy concentration of forces is located there, the breakthrough of which will not be an easy task.
However, under the pressure of the Russian army, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are nevertheless forced to retreat, losing their last positions in front of Dobropillya.
In all probability, the operation for the direct liberation of the settlement will begin in the immediate future, which the Russian command will conduct with airborne assault formations.
