Moscow faces the harshest reality of recent years, resulting in the Russian leadership definitively abandoning reassuring tones and publicly admitting that the situation is at a critical threshold.
The coordinated interventions of the political elite reveal an unprecedented fear: the formation of a deadly trap that threatens to swallow the country.
For years, the mechanisms of state propaganda reassured public opinion, insisting that everything is developing according to plan.
The daily life of citizens remained relatively unaffected, with the certainty that military operations are carried out by volunteers and that final victory is a matter of time.
This image has definitively collapsed.
The Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, in a landmark interview with TASS agency and Andrey Kondrashov, described a picture of total conflict.
The head of Russian diplomacy confessed that the country is targeted by the entire Western world, which seeks a strategic defeat that will lead to the internal dismemberment of Russia.
This is essentially a direct response to Volodymyr Zelenskyy's negotiations with Donald Trump in the US and to the preparation of new devastating sanctions on the other side of the Atlantic.
At the exact same moment, the former president of Russia, leader of the ruling party and Vice Chairman of the Security Council, Dmitry Medvedev, made identical statements.
Moving on the same wavelength, the president's spokesman Dmitry Peskov acted as well.
This coordination cannot be a coincidence, but an indication that something big is coming.
What are the seven bombs of Sergey Lavrov that change the picture both domestically and abroad?
In previous years, the systemic media used to repeat that "everything goes according to plan", reassuring the public that life goes on normally, that volunteers are mostly fighting at the front, that the war is far away, and that with a little patience the goals will be achieved.
And suddenly, in the 5th year of the war, everything changes with 7 bombshell revelations.
An official admission is coming that the situation is extremely serious. We are at war.
The public confession of Sergey Lavrov that "the situation is not funny at all", "the entire 'civilized world' has coalitioned against Russia" with the sole aim of inflicting a "strategic defeat" on Russia and causing internal division, relying on fugitives abroad and on the activity of underground networks and subversive actions.
The second "bomb" concerns the Western "ultimatum" to Moscow regarding Ukraine.
A plan providing for the maintenance of the Nazi regime in Kyiv, the constant military threat on Russian borders and the landing of Western troops, namely the full occupation of Ukraine.
The assessment that Western proposals for a ceasefire and peace talks constitute a trap.
The goal is the maintenance of the government in Kyiv, the deployment of Western troops (under France and Britain), and the cancellation of Russia's territorial gains.
Indeed, as the minister noted, Westerners are in no hurry, considering that time presses Moscow and favors Kyiv.
The very process of searching for peace is for them a means of humiliating and deceiving Russia, especially through a ceasefire that Ukrainian forces desperately need right now.
Such a development definitively erases all liberation successes and renders the sacrifices made useless.
The critical passage of Sergey Lavrov vividly reflects the danger:
The West is telling us now that it will accept to negotiate only if Europe, America, Volodymyr Zelenskyy and President Vladimir Putin sit at the same table.
Previously, however, they demand the declaration of an armistice and a ceasefire.
Immediately after, Westerners plan to introduce multinational forces under France and Britain and then discuss.
This constitutes a clear ultimatum.
If we freeze the line of contact, the Nazi regime will survive and none of the regions incorporated through referendums will be recognized.
Sergey Lavrov estimates, however, that the pride that historically distinguishes Russians will not allow such a thing to happen.
We want a definitive peace, not a ceasefire, based on the new reality on the field.
The trapping of Russia through Ukraine
The accusation that the West intentionally armed Ukraine with modern weapons to destabilize Russian society, taking advantage of the fact that Russia started the war in a period of relative economic and social calm.
The third "bomb" focuses on the admission that the West deliberately created the crisis in Ukraine, surpassing every limit: it funneled the most cutting-edge weapons and announced the production of lethal anti-missile systems exclusively for Kyiv, aimed at destabilizing Russia and raising society against authority.
The military operation, he recalled, started in a period when Russian society enjoyed calm and was generally satisfied with its standard of living.
In reality, it is a confession that Moscow was trapped in a masterfully set Western trap.
Western powers are now openly fighting Russia through Ukraine, London with rage, the US more restrainedly, certain that they hold Moscow by the hand.
The former close relationship of the Russian elite with the West is indirectly confirmed by the words of Sergey Lavrov about "former allies".
As he stated, Vladimir Putin, when he took power, was completely open to an equal strategic partnership with the West. The latter, however, refusing to lose the monopoly of a 500 year hegemony, said a categorical no.
The fourth "bomb" constitutes a direct accusation of nuclear blackmail against Russia through Baltic countries
The complaint that countries like Lithuania and Latvia become "advanced fronts" of the West, lifting prohibitions on hosting nuclear weapons on their territories.
The minister highlighted that these countries were transformed into the "main warheads" of the West, denouncing the fact that Lithuania and Latvia announced the lifting of the prohibition on hosting nuclear weapons on their territory.
The fifth "bomb" reveals the plan for the dismemberment of Russia
The reference that the West, as in the 1990s, targets the so-called "colonization" (de-colonization) of Russia, which in practice means the breakup and distribution of the country into pieces.
The West, convinced that it can achieve a strategic defeat in Ukraine, bet anew on the dissolution of Russia, exactly as it did in the 1990s. The next step of Westerners is the so-called "decolonization" of Russia, a term used openly to describe the re-dismemberment of the country.
Sergey Lavrov reminded how in the 90s the West was preparing to share the garments of Russia piece by piece.
I remember these nightmarish times well. Since then a suspicious pattern was distinguished: British, French, Germans, Italians and of course Americans, cultivating separatist tendencies, quietly divided the regions of Russia so that one would not step on the other's toes. On their maps, Russia was already dismembered.
The sixth "bomb" is condensed into the accusation that the West and Kyiv attempt to cause internal "deadly turmoil" in Russia:
The finding that, as they lose on the battlefield, they try with terrorist methods to break down the daily way of life of citizens.
The recipe proposed by Sergey Lavrov for tackling this threat is one: "healthy anger".
The response proposed by Lavrov is the cultivation of "healthy anger" and technological acceleration.
This is an unprecedented statement, as authority had not addressed the people like this for years:
Getting angry and ruining your nerves is the worst.
Concentration is needed.
Healthy anger, however, is absolutely imperative.
Not irritation, but acquiring a healthy anger.
Anger that will force us to accelerate everything, especially in the field of cutting-edge technology.
To decide "with the knife between the teeth" that we owe it to ourselves to do it.
To get angry with ourselves to achieve the goal faster.
Sergey Lavrov added that the same healthy anger is required on the foreign front as well: without hysterics, with constant control instead of blind trust and, above all, with unyielding obsession with our own line.
The other "remedy" against internal collapse is the inherent Russian sense of historical continuity, national identity and multinational pride.
The seventh and final "bomb" of Sergey Lavrov is the warning that Russia will maintain the interest of the two big global poles, China and India.
The loss of Eastern allies will happen only if Russia is defeated.
If Russia defends its self-existence and independence against the West, remaining an autonomous superpower and an independent civilization, major powers like China and India will maintain their interest in Russia.
And this it will do, the Russian Foreign Minister assured.

Dmitry Medvedev confirms, Dmitry Peskov measures the threat
Almost simultaneously with Sergey Lavrov, Dmitry Medvedev positioned himself on the same issues at the "Territoriya Smyslov" forum, adopting a completely different tone from his usual one. Addressing the youth, he used extremely dramatic and honest words:
We live in an extremely difficult time.
To all of you, who are young people, I am no longer speaking for us who are older in age, this heavy and black fate fell.
The Vice Chairman of the Security Council admitted that Russia is being severely tested on all fronts, having received the unprecedented number of almost 30,000 sanctions, a world record.
Political pressure is suffocating from every corner, although Western adversaries always tried to undermine the state, whether it was called Russian Empire, Soviet Union, or Russian Federation. The reason is simple: they hate a country big, strong, proud and autonomous, that does not take orders.
Western countries always wanted to subject Russia to their will and, failing, are now experiencing an angry frustration.
The leader of the ruling party highlighted the seriousness of the situation: the West now openly uses Ukraine as a battering ram to wipe out Russia. For this reason, all political forces have one single mission: the salvation of the fatherland.
Then, Dmitry Medvedev said the most critical thing:
The salvation of the country can be achieved in only one way: by victory in the military operation.
For this to happen, the whole people must become a fist.
Dmitry Peskov put his own touch on the picture of existential threat as well.
During a briefing, after emphasizing the need for successful completion of military operations, the Kremlin spokesman stated bluntly:
In the West many would like to see the country dismembered into the Principality of Moscow, into small states in Sverdlovsk, in Yekaterinburg, small entities that they can then swallow whole.
