Precedented warning: IRGC issues 500-meter safety zone advisory regarding US personnel

The US committed war crimes with the resumption of its air and naval operations, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps claims

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, IRGC, has issued an urgent warning to citizens of countries hosting US military forces, instructing them to maintain a distance of at least 500 meters from locations where American personnel are housed or operating.

According to a statement carried by the Mehr News Agency and Tasnim News Agency, the IRGC declared: "With immediate effect, move away to a radius of 500 meters from the places of secret or concealed accommodation of American military personnel".

The statement details several allegations and warnings:

1) Accusations of war crimes: The IRGC accused the United States of committing war crimes following the resumption of military operations. It claimed that after the formal breakdown of peace agreements, US forces targeted civilian infrastructure, including bridges, fishing piers, civilian vessels, passing vehicles, and railway networks.

2) Targeting of Arbaeen pilgrims: The IRGC highlighted an incident from the previous day, alleging that Arbaeen pilgrims were killed and injured near the border with Iraq.

3) Relocation to urban centers: The IRGC alleged that many US military officers and personnel abandoned their formal bases out of fear of Iranian retaliatory strikes and relocated into civilian buildings within urban areas to direct operations.

4) Public call to report locations: Due to planned retaliatory strikes against these locations, the IRGC urged civilians in host countries (particularly across Arab states in the region) to stay at least 500 meters away for their own safety and requested citizens to report any new covert locations of US military personnel.
