In the geopolitical chessboard, the game has become extremely dangerous. The US and Russia tried to bridge their differences, but without any substantive result. When they met in Alaska, US President Trump and Russian President Putin agreed on certain assumptions. Trump proposed to Putin that he would convince Zelensky to withdraw from Donbass — which now makes no sense, as only two cities, Slovyansk and Kramatorsk, remain for Donbass to be 100% liberated by the Russians — and Russia would cede territory in Sumy and Dnipropetrovsk, essentially agreeing to cancel the plan to establish buffer zones at a depth of 30 kilometers inside Ukrainian territory.
Instead, the US continued to supply weapons to Europe for transfer to Ukraine and kept providing coordinates to the Ukrainians for strikes on Russian territory. The US has never abandoned this approach, as the deep state pursues a clearly anti-Russian strategy. Months passed after Alaska, and the result was that the US did not exert as much pressure on Ukraine as it could have... and in the end, the Americans brazenly declared that "the Alaska agreements no longer apply and new proposals must be considered."
Time for revenge
Russia had to take its revenge. The West is clearly mocking it, and the goal of the warmongering West remains the strategic defeat of Russia. Facing this impasse, Russia was searching for countermeasures beyond razing Ukraine and gaining new territory. Ukraine will inevitably be transformed into a Russian stronghold against the provocative West... the entirety of Ukraine will serve as a security zone against NATO. Iran, Hormuz, and the chaos caused by the US and Israel, along with the failure of US forces to deal a crushing blow to the Iranian military was the perfect opportunity for the Russians to take revenge.
Iran's terrible success is due to Russia
Russia appears to be behind Iran's major success. Iran's military doctrine is built on missiles, while Russia is the world's largest and most advanced missile manufacturer, possessing exceptionally capable target tracking and guidance systems. For Russia, this was the great opportunity. Just as the West, NATO, and the Americans use Ukraine to weaken Russia, Russia is helping Iran to weaken the Americans in the Middle East and the Persian Gulf. The major successes of the Iranians in Kuwait, Bahrain, and Jordan are attributable to Iran's effective missiles and to Russian intelligence regarding target recognition as well as assistance in missile manufacturing.
The hour of truth has arrived for Russians and Americans
The Alaska Agreement has now completely collapsed... The choice for Russia is either to fight for real or to agree to a "shameful peace" — a pause in the war until its immediate resumption under conditions favorable to the West and the Ukrainian forces. The US must also make a choice: either continue tricking Russia under the guise of acting as a "mediator" or finally shed this hypocritical mask.
Unconventional warfare
If the European allies of the US "try to attack us again... it will be an unconventional war," warned Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov to US Secretary of State Rubio.
-
Western leaders had convinced themselves that Russia would never use conventional nuclear options or weapons of mass destruction, and Lavrov's job was to disabuse Rubio of this misconception. This is the first point.
Russia is not withdrawing troops
-
Secondly, Russia no longer intends to withdraw its troops from any of the territories it occupies in Ukraine (in the Dnipro, Sumy, and Kharkiv regions), which will serve as a buffer zone. Furthermore, Russia is once again demanding the entirety of the Kherson and Zaporizhia regions. Rubio's comments regarding the need for "new ideas" toward an acceptable settlement in Ukraine are merely an attempt to play for time, something Europeans and Americans remain convinced works to Ukraine's advantage. There is a more radical interpretation of these words from the US Secretary of State, as cited by the MIG Rossii Telegram channel. And it appears quite plausible: You don't need to be an analyst to understand that Rubio's new ideas and concepts represent far worse terms for Russia than those discussed in Alaska. Therefore, they are unlikely to be accepted by the Russian leadership. The United States, where the entire Western leadership has long harbored a deep hostility toward Russia and Trump's position against the Deep State has weakened, will never agree to a peace that resembles a victory for Russia. They view Ukraine as their colony, and such an outcome would be a slap in the face to Washington while terrifying its allies and vassals. The Americans will agree only under one condition: if Ukraine begins to weaken and collapse rapidly.

The US has realized that Russia is helping Iran
-
Thirdly, the fact that the Americans suddenly, as if suddenly alerted, began speaking openly about this clearly demonstrates their effort to force Russia to stop aiding Iran. Such a demand is completely unacceptable to Russian interests. However, the United States, having found itself in a difficult predicament thanks to Iran's boldness, may well have put forward this demand to frame a refusal as a pretext for sharply escalating pressure on Russia regarding Ukrainian operations. They are likely also thinking: what if everything goes according to plan? This means Russia has, and continues to have, only one path forward, though it will now be more difficult — much time has been lost. For Russia, there is only one way to achieve total victory. Referring to the situation in his region and Tehran's policies, the Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, gave everyone, including Russia, a lesson in geopolitical literacy, writing: The equation of this war is clear: either everyone or no one! In a region where we cannot sell oil, no one will sell crude oil. If our security is not guaranteed, no critical infrastructure will be safe.

Russia should take a lesson from Iran
Russia must act in the same manner in its relations with the West. The West understands and respects only force, having tried for years to economically strangle Russia through Ukrainian proxies. This is happening simply so that certain individuals can preserve their capital, luxury villas, and private yachts in the West. Russia needs to demonstrate firm resolve. Only decisive courage resolves the crisis.
