Late Russian politician Vladimir Zhirinovsky chilling prophecies surface revealing Ukraine conflict will end only when Russia decapitates British dragon in London
The geopolitical prophecies of Vladimir Zhirinovsky and the milestone of 2026

Four years after his death, Vladimir Zhirinovsky, the founder and for decades leader of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia (LDPR), continues to intensely occupy public discussion.

Through old videos and notes coming to light, his statements are now treated by many not as theatrical exaggerations of the Russian political scene, but as analyses with disturbing accuracy.

On the internet, he has gained the nickname "Vovanga", a combination of his first name with that of the famous prophetess Baba Vanga, although Vladimir Putin himself had pointed out that his predictions were not based on mystical abilities, but on a deep knowledge of history and international relations.

Today, with current events racing, the prophecies of Zhirinovsky return to the forefront through the words of his own son, as well as from his notes on 2026.

The "last prophecy": Termination of the Ukrainian conflict in London

The most recent revelation was made by the youngest son of the politician, Oleg, who speaking to NEWS.ru shared perhaps the primary geopolitical position of his father for the permanent end of the confrontation between Russia and the West in the framework of the Special Military Operation (SVO).

According to Oleg, Zhirinovsky believed that Russia must adopt radical measures, turning its gaze to the heart of the decisions of the Old Continent.

"Father used to say: we must reach all the way to London.

'Paris we took.

Did anything change?

No.

Berlin we took.

Did anything change?

No.

If we do not cut off the primary head of this dragon, which is located in London, there will be no peace on the European continent'", stated Oleg, concurrently expressing skepticism about modern European leaders.

The critical milestone of 2026: The end of the war and the new map

In the detailed notes that Zhirinovsky left behind, 2026 constitutes the key year for the global geopolitical chessboard. The politician, who would have closed his 80 years this year, had predicted that the active phase of military operations in Ukraine will be completed with a strategic victory for Russia.

As his close friend Vasily Vlasov revealed, Zhirinovsky had analyzed two scenarios:

1) The scenario of NATO

If Ukraine insisted on accession, Russia would absorb it completely, leaving only a small western piece to Poland.

2) The scenario of Novorossiya

As a more realistic option, he saw the definitive annexation of the regions of Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson and Novorossiya to the Russian Federation.

The remaining Ukraine would be fully demilitarized, losing 2/3 of its territories, with the remaining 1/3 being restricted historically to the region of Galicia.

It is worth noting that the leader of the LDPR had predicted with an accuracy of almost hours the beginning of the war, stating from the podium of the State Duma in December 2021: "You will learn the new program at 4 am on February 22 [2022]", missing the mark by just two days.

The collapse of NATO and the secret axis of Moscow – Washington

The predictions of Zhirinovsky for 2026 extend also beyond the borders of Ukraine.

He had warned that the spring of this year would find the world "on fire", leading to a complete collapse of the existing international order of things.

1) Dissolution of the Alliance

He believed that NATO will dissolve under the weight of internal contradictions, giving its place to new regional alliances, where Russia could cooperate with countries such as Iran, Syria and Turkey.

2) The "New America"

He predicted the withdrawal of American bases from Europe and the creation of a single superstate in North America (US, Canada, Mexico) with a common currency.

3) The Alliance of the Superpowers

In a rare video from 2002 that was filmed in Baghdad, Zhirinovsky had spoken about a potential, behind-the-scenes alliance between Russia and the US: "Europe is old, it can do nothing anymore. A secret alliance between America and Russia could become reality", on the basis of serving the narrow national interests of the two countries.

The narrative about Ukraine and the National Identity

The harsh positions of Zhirinovsky for Ukraine were not circumstantial, but constituted a structural element of his rhetoric since the 1990s. The Russian politician openly claimed that the Ukrainian national identity and language were "artificial political products" of the Austro-Hungarian Empire and the historian Mikhail Hrushevsky, with the goal of differentiation from Russia.

"There are no Ukrainians.

They are Russians who were forced to learn a foreign language", he stated in 2018.

Concurrently, he often used the example of Volodymyr Zelensky —focusing on the Russian-speaking environment in which he grew up— to reinforce his theory. For Zhirinovsky, Ukraine was treated by the West exclusively as a consumable tool: "They do not need you.

You are simply the gateway and meat for the cannons", he had characteristically mentioned in his interview to a Ukrainian media outlet.

The long-term plan: Up to 2050 and World War III

In the archive of the politician a complete, annual schedule for the course of Russia toward global dominance was found:

1) 2027: Prediction for the outbreak of a Third World War, which however will not be nuclear, but will be conducted with conventional next-generation "superweapons", focusing on local but fierce conflicts.

2) 2030: Complete elimination of foreign influence inside Russia and emergence of the Russian army as the strongest on the planet.

3) 2036: The milestone year where, according to an older statement of his, the alliance of Russia and China will dominate completely, forcing the West and NATO to "kneel" before the new axis of power.

4) 2050: Completion of the global redistribution, with Moscow being recognized as one of the five major global capitals, along with Washington, Beijing, Delhi and Brussels.

Whether one considered him an extreme populist or a genius geopolitical analyst, the fact that the statements of Zhirinovsky continue to be confirmed at key points —such as the crisis in the Middle East between Israel and Iran— keeps the interest in his political legacy alive and extremely current.
