Putin issues chilling warning to Baltic states as Russia vows to level launch sites of Ukrainian drones
"Russia will respond and they will not like it..." was the laconic yet clear message of the Russian president to the Baltic states.

The Russian President Vladimir Putin addressed an inconceivable warning to the Baltic countries that assist the drones of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in attacks against Russia, with his public statement from the Kremlin on June 23.

Specifically, the strongman of the Kremlin stressed that the countries from whose territories Ukrainian drones take off bound for Russian regions probably do not realize the consequences of their actions.

This was the response of the head of state to a question from a participant in the meeting of the president with graduates of universities operating under the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Federal Security Service, FSB, the Federal Protective Service, the Russian National Guard, the Federal Penitentiary Service, the Investigative Committee and the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Russia will respond and they will not like it.

The president of the Russian Federation noted that Moscow will certainly respond to such actions.

He stated that the Western allies of Ukraine have not yet begun to launch strikes against Russia from their own territory, fearing the retaliatory actions of Moscow.

After all, such strikes would inevitably result in a retaliatory strike.

Putin also stated that the number of opponents of anti-Russian policies is increasing more and more in Western countries.

The political forces that are in an anti Russian delirium are evaporating politically

Specifically he mentioned:

"Those political forces that advocate for aggression against Russia, those forces that advocate for the escalation of the situation and are led into armed conflict, are seeing their ratings decline, and indeed catastrophically."

Meanwhile it is noted that at approximately 1:30 p.m. Athens time, a warning for a drone attack was issued in Krasnodar Krai.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation advised the residents of the area to move away from windows, while those who were in outdoor areas during the alarm were given a recommendation to immediately seek shelter in a building, basement or to use natural covers of the area.

The goal of Ukrainian drones is. the destabilization of Ukrainian society

The Ukrainian armed forces are attacking civilian infrastructure in Russia in an attempt to destabilize society, the Russian President added, during his informal meeting with graduates of military academies.

"Well, these drones, these strikes on civilian infrastructure in Russia. For what purpose. To destabilize society. Of course, with such a massive strike, with the entire West working on their behalf, these drones fly in huge numbers, so as to create some uncertainty regarding the actions of the Russian armed forces," Putin explained.

Europe prepares for war against an invisible enemy

Regarding the strategy of NATO, the Russian president Vladimir Putin argued that Western countries no longer hide their intentions and are openly preparing for a potential conflict with Russia, using as a justification what he characterized as a "non existent Russian threat".

Speaking at an event with graduates of military academies and higher educational institutions of the Russian security forces, the Russian leader accused the countries of NATO and the European Union, EU, of drastically increasing their military spending and proceeding with an unprecedented militarization of their economies.

"The West now openly states that it is preparing for war against Russia," Putin reported, arguing that Western governments use the Russian threat as a tool to justify new armaments, higher defense budgets and the transfer of more and more military resources to the eastern borders of the Alliance.

His statements come at a time when several European countries are significantly increasing their defense spending, while NATO has set as a strategic goal the further reinforcement of its deterrent power against Russia.

Modernization of the nuclear triad necessary as ever

The Russian president directly linked these developments to the need to reinforce the Russian armed forces, giving particular emphasis to the modernization of the nuclear deterrent force of the country.

As he stated, the nuclear triad of Russia – the land, naval and air nuclear forces – continues to be upgraded within the framework of the state armaments program.

At the same time, he referred to the reinforcement of the land forces, the aerospace forces and the navy, arguing that the experience gained on the Ukrainian front has accelerated the development of new technologies and weapons systems.

According to him, more than 1,000 new types of weapons systems and military equipment were tested in real combat conditions during the past year. Among these are included sophisticated unmanned aircraft, loitering munitions, electronic warfare systems and robotic platforms used in various operational roles.

He also gave particular weight to the development of the military operation in Ukraine.

Russian forces will liberate our historical lands at any cost.

The Russian president argued that the Russian forces continue to fulfill their mission, while he characterized the regions where operations are conducted as "historical Russian lands".

"Our soldiers and officers fight bravely, protect our people and liberate historical lands of Russia," he characteristicly stated, repeating the well known position of the Kremlin on the character of the military operation.
