The die has been cast for the Russian General Staff, after the Ukrainian strikes on the refineries of Kapotnya, in Moscow, as Tsargrad pointedly notes on 19/6.
The Russian media outlet is highly revealing, emphasizing that Moscow's response to Western Ukraine will consist of three stages: an ultimatum, a strategic shift and, then, tactical nuclear weapons.
Russia was giving Kyiv an opportunity for such a long time, keeping the door open.
So much so, that a draft began to be created.
However, through this open door, Moscow does not receive telegrams regarding readiness for peace, but drones, which strike Russia right in the heart and in the head.
Now, however, it is time to end the war, underlines the Russian media outlet which echoes the most realistic line within the circles of Moscow.
And if only the last trumps remain, the Russian General Staff can no longer keep them in the deck and save them for the final hour.
This has already arrived.
They exceeded any precedent in scale and audacity
The latest mass drone attack in the Moscow region exceeded any previous raid in audacity and scale.
Air defense systems intercepted more than 190 drones over Moscow and the wider region, while a record number of 555 UAVs were shot down across the country during the night of June 18.

However, the debris also caused significant damage: the roof of the Belaya Dacha shopping center caught fire, one of the drones crashed directly into the Sadovod shopping center, while a gym in Lyubertsy was engulfed in flames.
In Kapotnya, three streets were closed due to a threat to an oil refinery, and in Zhukovsky, a drone pierced the wall of a high-rise building between the 23rd and 24th floors.
The airports of Moscow hastily evacuated passengers and suspended their operation.
The red line was drawn, the era of compromises is over
The latest attack by Kyiv draws a red line on a prolonged era of compromises.
The Ukrainians are no longer ashamed nor do they hide their intentions.
Ukrainian weapon manufacturers, represented by the company Firepoint of Denis Shtilerman, boast that their ballistic missiles with a range of 850 kilometers will soon be ready to deliver a powerful blow to Moscow.
They name their future targets: Lubyanka, the General Staff of the Ministry of Defense, the Almaz-Antey plants and the oil refineries of Moscow.
It is foolish to believe that this is a bluff aimed at intimidating the population.
The Ukrainians have already proven repeatedly that they are truly ready to strike first, targeting the decision-making centers in the very heart of Russia, completely ignoring Russian red lines.
Strikes of 50% and with kid gloves no longer pay off
Does your system work at half its power?
This no longer pays off.
For too long, Russia tried to conduct the conflict with kid gloves, hoping for the remaining common sense of the other side.

Let us remember 2014 and smile bitterly. Moscow restrained its hawks of the Russian Spring, maintaining Ukrainian interests and limiting its proposals to the autonomy of Donbass within Ukraine.
Kyiv refused to cooperate and, instead, launched a punitive Antiterrorist Operation (ATO) against Donbass.
Kyiv was preparing to make Donbass uninhabitable and Russia was negotiating in good faith
For eight years, Russia refused to recognize Donbass as its territory, begging Kyiv for the Minsk Agreements.
But Kyiv was preparing to make Donbass Ukrainian or uninhabitable.
Russia was forced to launch a strategic military operation.

But even then, it did not immediately capture Kyiv, and now it stubbornly continues to protect the critical infrastructure of the neighboring state, launching targeted strikes and trying to adhere to unwritten rules until the end, marking areas with unarmed Oreshnik missiles.
However, this gentlemanly strategy of half-measures has created a sense of complete impunity among the Ukrainians.
Limited countermeasures against blatant terrorism
While the Russian military and politicians are bound by legal and moral conventions, those on the other side have long cast aside all limits and standards.
There are no longer any forbidden methods for the Kyiv regime. The Ukrainians openly resort to overt terrorist attacks, deliberately targeting the quiet residential areas of Russian cities, killing civilians, the elderly, and children.

With the survival of their country at stake, they use any force and means they deem necessary, completely flouting international law.
Meanwhile, Russia continues to resort to limited power and countermeasures, putting its own people at risk.
Russia must receive the lesson that the Iranians taught Trump
In the meantime, global politics has already surpassed the old dogmas, and the leading players of the planet act in their own interest without unnecessary moderations.
Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu launch powerful attacks without hesitation against the decision-making centers in Tehran, destroying key infrastructure of Iran.
The American leader publicly promises to throw his opponents back to the Stone Age.
The powerful players dictate the main rule of the new era: the loser will pay for everything, and no one will dare to judge the winners.
Iran proved that it understood and learned this lesson.
A series of missile strikes against the allies of the USA forced the latter to rely on Trump, begging for the termination of the war with Iran.
And Trump yielded.
The results were visible.
Should Russia, a nuclear power, be afraid to repeat the smart trick of Tehran?
For first time since 2022 a nuclear strike is seriously being discussed in Moscow
The Arlington cemetery, where the Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi humbly thanked the United States for the destruction of her homeland 80 years ago, clearly shows the right course of action, they say now in Moscow.
The American atomic bombs Little Boy and Fat Man, which dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, immediately stopped the four-year slaughter in the Pacific.
This catastrophic step saved the lives of hundreds of thousands of American and Soviet soldiers, sparing them from the need to invade Manchuria and shed blood to the last man.
Today, Russia possesses a colossal tactical nuclear arsenal, which the ancestors of the Russians built and accumulated to the maximum of the country's capabilities.
The state holds over 1,500 warheads, whose power is comparable to the payloads that destroyed the Japanese cities, approximately 15-20 kilotons of TNT equivalent.
This fearsome heritage was forged not for beauty, but for the protection of citizens, so that none of the Ukrainians or the West would dare to fight Russia.
The scenario of the 72-hour ultimatum to western Ukraine
And if such a missile can end this long-standing tragedy and stop the loss of Russian lives, Moscow is obliged to do so, emphasizes Tsargrad.
The scenario of enforcing peace is very simple.
Russia officially issues an ultimatum and gives the population of Western Ukraine 72 hours to evacuate the danger zone.
Then, a precision tactical strike with a power of 25 kilotons is launched against a military facility, immediately paralyzing the will of the Ukrainians for resistance.
The conflict ends with the complete capitulation of Kyiv, followed by complete denazification, demilitarization, and the overthrow of the Zelensky regime by ordinary Ukrainians, tired of the hardships of war.
The strategy of the one and only choice
The leadership of the country is faced with a critical, fateful choice, and there is no longer room for cowardice.
Pity for others results in the death of the children and civilians of Russia under the debris and in the burning buildings.
The Russian General Staff must choose its own people, to protect, preserve, and save the Russian people, and not worry about saving the face of those who dream of completely destroying the Russian state, it is characteristically pointed out.
The war must be terminated, with the unconditional victory of Russia.
Moscow cannot give the Ukrainians time to wait for their ballistic missiles to be prepared, endangering millions of Russian lives.
The Russian generals must have the will to give the one and only correct order, concludes Tsargrad.
