Afroditi Latinopoulou on BNtv: Mitsotakis is a socialist and 'grand vizier' of handouts to gypsies, LGBTQ+

Afroditi Latinopoulou, President of "Voice of Reason" and MEP, speaks about everyone and everything in an interview on the show MAGGA, featured on BankingNews.gr’s web television, BNtv. Responding to journalist Angie Stathatou, Ms. Latinopoulou characterizes Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis as a "socialist" and the "grand vizier of handouts, mainly to gypsies and LGBTQ+". Speaking on benefit policies such as the Fuel Pass, the MEP states that "from the money the state makes through exorbitant taxes, it distributes crumbs to the Greek people whenever it suits for communication reasons," intended to make citizens beg like paupers: "Give us another 20 euros for holidays and so we can buy a lemonade, grand vizier!". The "Voice of Reason" party is against benefit-driven policies, Afroditi Latinopoulou argues, as she analyzes her positions for a "small state, layoffs of civil servants who do not do their jobs, reducing the number of MPs to 200, a flat tax of 15% for everyone, school choice for parents via evaluation vouchers, and the complete abolition of Article 86 of the Constitution".

Akrita's distortion regarding the rape resolution is vulgar – It was for trans people, not women

The president of "Voice of Reason" launches an attack against SYRIZA MP Elena Akrita, who accused her of voting against a resolution on rapes: "This is a vulgar distortion of the truth. The resolution was for trans people, not women, and it considered all men collectively as rapists. Trans people are not women, and many on the left have quarreled with the truth. Akrita is the epitome of this reality," she emphasizes.

We can enter Parliament with 7-9% – I am not concerned by Kasidiaris running in the elections, we have a 15-year age difference!

Afroditi Latinopoulou maintains that she draws her strength from the youth and is not concerned by other parties, nor by Ilias Kasidiaris entering the next elections, as he has announced: "We believe we can enter Parliament with 7-9%; I am not concerned with what other parties are doing. Nor does Kasidiaris's run concern me; besides, we have a 15-year difference and he has been tested," she states. She completely rules out partnerships, specifically regarding ND, stating that "there is no way I will cooperate with a socialist like Mitsotakis!".

Mitsotakis a 'socialist', Androulakis 'bland', Karystianou 'apolitical', Velopoulos a 'political fraud', and Zoe Konstantopoulou the 'Eleni Louka of politics'

"All parties engage in populism," emphasizes Afroditi Latinopoulou, while characterizing her political opponents, holding a good opinion only of former Prime Minister Antonis Samaras, who, as she says, kept the country standing under difficult conditions: "Mitsotakis cannot kill the socialist within him; Androulakis is indifferent and bland; Tsipras is a storyteller; Maria Karystianou is apolitical; Zoe Konstantopoulou is the 'Eleni Louka of politics'; Kyriakos Velopoulos is a political fraud; and Antonis Samaras is a teacher". As for Ursula von der Leyen, according to the president of "Voice of Reason," she is "Mitsotakis in female form". She also refers to Donald Trump, as well as the European silence regarding the "dirty role of Turkey and the invasion of Cyprus".
