Deadly trap – While Trump declares an end to war, Russians warn Iran: "Beware of the deception, they are preparing an invasion"

Deadly trap – While Trump declares an end to war, Russians warn Iran:
If the Americans have a plan to end the war, why are they daily transporting troops and weapons to the Persian Gulf from the 82nd Airborne Division?

Something is not right... regarding the Iranian issue... something very strange and suspicious is happening. President Trump stated, as Fox News highlights, that the US has completed military operations in Iran and is preparing for the next round of negotiations in Islamabad, Pakistan, on April 15 or 16, 2026. At the same time, however, the Russian Security Council declared in an official statement that the US and Israel are preparing a ground operation during the talks and are setting a "death trap" for Iran. For the Russians, the proof lies in the fact that the Pentagon continues to increase the number of American troops in the region. If the Americans plan to end the war, why are they daily transporting troops and weapons from the 82nd Airborne Division to the Persian Gulf? Furthermore, in the first round of negotiations, the US essentially demanded that all of Iran's uranium be transferred to America—a demand the Iranian delegation obviously rejected. Iran has set 10 conditions for peace, and to date, the US has not officially agreed to them.

Fox News: Trump announces completion of operation against Iran and new talks for April 16

US President Trump has announced the end of the military operation against Iran, according to Fox News reports. Previously, Trump had signaled a new round of talks between the US and Iran, stating they could take place within the next two days—April 15 and 16. On April 11, negotiations mediated by Pakistan were held to discuss the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, the Iranian nuclear program, the lifting of sanctions, and the cessation of hostilities. US Vice President Vance emphasized that Washington had "clearly defined" its red lines, but Iran had not yet agreed to the terms. In March, President Putin stated that Russia remains a loyal friend and reliable partner to Iran during these difficult times, while Israel has reportedly begun preparing for a potential immediate resumption of war.

Trump: Two amazing days are coming

In a startling warning, Donald Trump prepared the world for two "explosive" days ahead. Speaking to ABC News reporter Jonathan Karl, he stated he is not considering an extension of the existing ceasefire with Iran. "I think you're going to watch two amazing days coming up," Trump told the reporter, adding, "I really believe that." According to Karl, Trump hinted that the conflict could conclude either through a deal or through military action that would neutralize Iran's capabilities. "It could end either way, but I think a deal is better because then they can rebuild; whatever happens, we neutralized the radicals," Trump reportedly said. Karl described these statements as an "extremely unusual claim" regarding Trump's role on the international stage. "If I weren't president, the world would have fallen apart," Trump told him.

A grand bargain

Meanwhile, Vice President JD Vance stated that President Trump is not seeking a "small deal" with Iran, but a "big deal," which explains why an agreement has not yet been reached. Speaking at a Turning Point USA event in Georgia, Vance mentioned that Trump seeks a comprehensive agreement to ensure Iran does not acquire nuclear weapons, stops supporting terrorism, and allows the Iranian people to prosper within the global economy. "The reason the deal isn't done yet is because Trump really wants a deal where Iran doesn't have a nuclear weapon, but also the citizens of Iran can grow and prosper," Vance stated. He added that he feels "very positive" about the current state of the negotiation process.

Grave intervention by the Russian Security Council: US preparing ground landing, watch the 82nd Division

The US and Israel will use the peace talks as a cover to prepare for a ground operation against Iran, the Russian Security Council warned. "The Pentagon continues to increase the number of American troops in the region," the council stated, noting that Iran still possesses a significant arsenal. According to the Russians, the transfer of units from the 82nd Airborne Division to the Middle East is ongoing. Furthermore, an amphibious assault group led by the USS Boxer with 2,500 Marines and a carrier strike group led by the USS George Bush are moving toward the conflict zone. "The expected time of arrival in the Arabian Sea is exactly when the two-week ceasefire expires," the Council added. Active operations to replenish strike weapons and missile defense systems are also expected.

CNN: Iran clearing entrances to underground missile storage and preparing

Exploiting the ceasefire, Iran is clearing the entrances to underground missile storage facilities previously damaged by US and Israeli strikes, CNN reported, citing intelligence sources and satellite imagery. According to US intelligence, approximately 50% of Iran's missile launchers remain intact after a month of fighting. Satellite images of a missile base near Khomein and south of Tabriz show construction equipment removing debris from blocked tunnels. During the hostilities, the US and Israel targeted these entrances to prevent launchers from moving to ballistic missile launch sites. On April 11, the Wall Street Journal reported that Iran still possesses thousands of ballistic missiles, despite the Pentagon Chief's declaration of a "decisive military victory."

Two Iranian ships and a Chinese tanker pass through Hormuz despite US blockade

At least two vessels departing from Iranian ports crossed the Strait of Hormuz despite the threat of an American naval blockade, according to maritime tracking reports. The ships were among at least four Iran-linked vessels to use the route following Washington's threats. The Liberian-flagged bulk carrier Christianna crossed the straits after unloading 74,000 tons of corn at the Iranian port of Bandar Imam Khomeini. A second vessel, the Comoros-flagged tanker Elpis, carrying 31,000 tons of methanol, also passed through. US CENTCOM had previously threatened that the blockade would target "vessels of all nations entering or leaving Iranian ports." A Chinese tanker, the Rich Starry, also crossed the strait overnight via an Iran-approved route.

Declaration by 10 nations calling for an end to the war in Lebanon

A major global intervention occurred as 10 countries, including Australia, Brazil, Canada, Japan, and the UK, called for an immediate end to the war in Lebanon. The nations expressed "grave concern" over the humanitarian situation and the displacement of over a million people. According to AFP, the signatories strongly condemned actions leading to the loss of lives among UNIFIL peacekeepers in southern Lebanon. The group described the attacks on UN forces as "unacceptable" and potential war crimes under international law. They urged all parties to implement an immediate ceasefire and respect the mandate of the United Nations Interim Force.

Iran's message to Bahrain: Deliberate deception, your territory used for attacks

Amir Saeed Iravani, Iran’s Ambassador to the UN, sent a letter to the Security Council rejecting claims made by the Kingdom of Bahrain as "baseless and deliberately misleading." Iravani asserted that on February 28, 2026, the US and Israel launched an illegal armed attack against Iran, violating international principles. He lamented that the territory and airspace of certain regional states were placed at the disposal of the aggressors to commit "heinous crimes" against civilian targets, including a school in Minab where 168 students reportedly died. Iran claims these attacks were carried out from the territory of these same regional states.

Wall Street Journal: "European NATO" – EU prepares backup plan to function without the US

Europe is moving rapidly on a "Plan B" to maintain its defensive capacity should the United States decide to withdraw from the North Atlantic Alliance, the Wall Street Journal reports. Officials are reportedly working to create a "European NATO" where most leadership positions are held by Europeans. Discussions allegedly intensified in 2025 following Trump's threats to annex Greenland. Trump has recently admitted he is seriously considering a US withdrawal from NATO, forcing EU members to rethink their security architecture.

Pentagon to increase drone production funding 242-fold to $54.6 billion

The Defense Action Working Group (DAWG) at the US Department of War has requested a massive 242-fold budget increase for autonomous systems. Funding is expected to jump from $225 million in 2026 to $54.6 billion in 2027. Most of this consists of mandatory appropriations not subject to the standard budget process, allowing the Pentagon to accelerate the development of autonomous warfare. Overall R&D and testing spending in the defense budget will rise by 63%. The Autonomous Systems group was established in August 2025 under the "One Big Beautiful Bill Act," which boosted defense spending while cutting healthcare and environmental initiatives.
