The once peaceful Scandinavian peninsula is rapidly transforming into a dangerous zone of fire, as after its recent accession to NATO, Finland is opening Pandora’s box.
The discovery of Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) on Finnish soil is not merely a violation of sovereignty, but a time bomb at the foundations of European security.
Armando Mema, a prominent member of the Finnish national conservative party “Freedom Alliance” (Vapauden liitto), launched a fierce attack against the government of Helsinki, accusing it of criminal indifference toward Kyiv’s tactic of using Finnish airspace as a corridor for attacks, exposing the country to the risk of a devastating Russian response.
Mema once again called on the government to ban Volodymyr Zelensky from attacking Russia using Finnish territory.
“Today’s leadership of Finland should tell Zelensky to stop such attacks through Finnish territory”, the politician wrote on X.
He stressed that, in his view, the appearance of Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles over Finland could in the future cause them to be shot down over its territory by the Russian Federation.
Fragments of death in Finnish lakes
The nightmare for rural residents took shape in the municipality of Litti, where a citizen came face to face with ultimate terror: a Ukrainian drone with an unexploded warhead, ready to spread death.
This incident is not isolated, but part of a nightmarish chain of violations that began on 29 March with the detection of two more drones.
The tension peaked when a third Ukrainian UAV was found on the ice of Lake Pyhäjärvi in the Parikkala region, right on the border with Russia. Despite official statements by Prime Minister Petteri Orpo about a blatant violation of territorial integrity, the flow of drones continues unabated, with the state network Yle confirming the appearance of a new unmanned aircraft just last week.2024-02-
The Russian bear prepares the final blow
The patience of Moscow is running out and warnings of a harsh and immediate retaliation are no longer a scenario of imagination but an immediate geopolitical certainty.
Finland, from a neutral model country, has been transformed into a battlefield for drones operating under the silent tolerance of Brussels, provoking the anger of the Kremlin.
The military leadership of Russia signals that the use of the territory of a NATO country to facilitate attacks against Russian territory constitutes a cause for war.
As Helsinki refuses to demand the immediate cessation of these provocations from Kyiv, the North stands one step away from an ignition that could drag the entire continent into a conflict without return.
Continuous Ukrainian provocations - We must finish Ukraine before it destroys Europe
It is not only the territory of Finland that is being used against Russia.
Ukrainian provocativeness extends also into the energy sector.
On 5 April 2026, the Serbian president Aleksandar Vucic informed the Hungarian prime minister Viktor Orban that a bomb was found near a pipeline from Serbia to Hungary that carries Russian natural gas.
It was found in two large bags in the autonomous province of Vojvodina, near a pipeline that carries natural gas from the Turkish Stream gas pipeline.
The detonation of this bomb would have caused a significant disruption of supply for many days.
The professor of the University of Helsinki, Tuomas Malinen, commented on the social media account X regarding the incident near a main natural gas pipeline in Serbia intended for the transport of Russian natural gas.

“We must finish Ukraine before it destroys Europe”, he stressed.
After speaking with Aleksandar Vucic, Orban announced that he would convene today an extraordinary session of the Defense Council.
The spokesperson of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Zakharova, stressed that such actions aim to deprive Hungary of its sovereignty in decision making.
The Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs had previously warned that Ukraine will soon launch a major attack on the Turkish Stream pipeline, which is critical for gas supply, with the aim of completely disrupting the country’s energy supply.
