Earthquake in Netanyahu's "nest" – Israel prepares insidious attacks on Iran while accepting Trump's truce

Earthquake in Netanyahu's
Israel is playing with fire… It agreed to a truce but continues the attacks and ignores the US

The apparent truce in the Middle East hides more traps than it seems. Israel, despite the two-week agreement announced by President Donald Trump, continues raids against Iran, defying international pressure and leaving the possibility of a new escalation open. Once again, the leadership of Israel plans to turn the Middle East into a geopolitical uncertainty time bomb.

The Trump retreat

The leadership of Israel agreed to a two-week truce, which President Donald Trump announced just an hour and a half before the deadline he himself had set. According to a senior White House representative speaking to CNN, this decision was made following a personal request from the President. The issue has intensely occupied analysts, as the position of the Jewish state largely determines peace in the Middle East. According to a CNN source, Israel hesitantly agreed to suspend its bombings during the negotiations, in which the Jewish state will not participate, even indirectly. The maximalist goals and demands of Israel regarding the outcomes of the war against Iran led the US to a point of no return, which was almost crossed within a few hours. Now Washington has the opportunity to exit the conflict (though not without issues), while Israel remains dissatisfied, as its own goals were much larger and of historic significance.

What is happening at Hormuz

According to the Associated Press, the two-week truce plan includes permission for Iran and Oman to collect fees from ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz. This process is already partially being implemented – within two days, more ships passed through the strait than had passed in the entire previous month of war, presumably upon payment. Israel is not happy with this situation, as Tehran appears as the winner, controlling the passage and collecting money while recovering. For this reason, despite the agreement, Israel essentially retains the right to the "last word," a fact considered particularly dangerous for its transatlantic ally. Furthermore, the IDF has not yet halted the bombings and air strikes in Iran, even under the status of the declared Middle East truce, as reported by the Times of Israel, citing a source from the security services.

Israel continues to mine the Middle East

"Despite statements regarding the cessation of hostilities, the Israeli Air Force continues to strike targets on the territory of Iran," the article notes. The publication also points out that for the time being, there are no confirmations that Israel has interrupted its military operations against the Hezbollah organization. The stance of the government of Israel will constitute a test not only for the truce, which appears precarious and difficult to implement, but also for the alliance with the US. So far, Washington managed to secure the official agreement of Israel for a cessation of hostilities, but with exceptions (such as in Lebanon). Overall, the truce began without anyone being able to guarantee real tranquility.
