Errol Musk, father of American entrepreneur Elon Musk, believes that financier Jeffrey Epstein is still alive. According to Errol Musk, Jeffrey Epstein is not dead. "There is no doubt about it... I mean, there's no way he's dead, not even in the slightest," Errol Musk emphasized, sparking a new round of conspiracy theories.
Errol Musk also challenged the official version of Jeffrey Epstein's death, pointing to several suspicious circumstances. On August 10, 2019, when his body was discovered, the security cameras were reportedly turned off and the prison guards were asleep.
Jeffrey Epstein was arrested on July 6, 2019, in New York. He was charged with creating a criminal network that allowed him to exploit and sexually abuse dozens of underage girls. The billionaire committed his crimes between 2002 and 2005, with alleged victims as young as 14 years old.
A Fortnite player?
Meanwhile, rumors have intensified suggesting that Epstein is playing Fortnite. Epic Games, the creator of the immensely popular battle royale title, was forced to categorically deny claims that the deceased sex offender Jeffrey Epstein is alive and active in the game. The company's communications team issued a public statement via platform X, condemning the conspiracy theory that had begun to gain traction online in recent days.
In the same vein, Epic CEO Tim Sweeney attempted to put a definitive end to the scenarios with his own post. Despite the official denials, the digital trail continues to fuel social media misinformation.
Supporters of the theory
The question, however, remains: how did the idea arise that Epstein—who died in prison in 2019—could be an active Fortnite player in 2026? The catalyst was the release of a large volume of documents related to the Epstein case. Internet users identified a YouTube profile with the username "littlestjeff1," which was linked to a confirmation email for the purchase of V-Bucks, Fortnite's virtual currency bought with real money.
At the same time, a Fortnite account with the same username was located, which appeared active until just a few days ago. However, according to Epic and Sweeney, this specific account is not related to any of Epstein's known email addresses. It was clarified that this is simply a case of a user changing their profile name within the game to troll or mislead other players.
Who is Palm Beach Pete?
At the same time, the theory was bolstered by viral videos featuring Florida resident Peter Simel, known as "Palm Beach Pete," who bears a physical resemblance to Epstein. He denied any connection, clarifying that he had only met him occasionally at social events in the past. Since then, he has handled the situation with humor, creating social media accounts named "Not Epstein," although he has not avoided incidents of harassment.
Finally, journalist Michael Wolff described his first meeting with Epstein in 2000, during a private jet flight to a TED conference. As he mentioned, he noticed the presence of young women and heard Epstein refer to the location where "the girls stay" on his Caribbean island, Little St. James, which was later linked to serious allegations of abuse and human trafficking.
