The World Economic Forum of Davos is preparing for the greatest upheaval in History.
Where for decades the globalization elite, the “soft words”, the climate agenda, and the endless calls for “cooperation” prevailed, there now arrives the man who detests all of the above, Donald Trump.
And he is not going for dialogue. He is going for confrontation.
The annual meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF) for 2026, which will take place from 19 to 23 January under the slogan “The Spirit of Dialogue”, begins amid a climate of fear.
Western media speak of the “salvation of the Old World”, of whether “common sense will prevail” and, most revealingly, of whether “the world will submit to Trump”.
Davos without Schwab
After the resignation of Klaus Schwab, under the weight of serious corruption allegations, the forum was reorganized under the guidance of two powerful figures, the BlackRock CEO Larry Fink, and the Swiss pharmaceutical industrialist André Hoffmann.

Officially, Davos will discuss “how to renew cooperation in a world of reduced trust, strained alliances, and rising geopolitical risks”.
In practice, however, everyone knows that the real question is one:
how will the globalization elite survive against Trump?
The agenda includes the Russia Ukraine war, the prospects of global trade and markets, artificial intelligence, the possibility of a “Chinese invasion of Taiwan”, and the risk of a generalized conflagration in the Middle East due to developments in Iran.
What almost disappears from the official announcements is climate change.
The once “sacred” words of the WEF (fair taxation, combating corruption, sustainable development, social justice) have silently retreated.
The shadow of Trump is already present.

Trump does not negotiate, he imposes
The American President will appear in person at the central speech on Wednesday, accompanied by heavyweight names from his administration:
Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent,
Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick, and Special Envoy Steve Witkoff.
The message is clear, Washington is not going to Davos for pleasantries.
Last year, Trump appeared online and openly threatened tariffs, pressured NATO countries to drastically increase their defense spending, and demanded immediate interest rate cuts from the Fed.
And, to the terror of the markets, he achieved his goals.
In recent weeks, Trump has shown that he has no intention of slowing down.
He sent troops for the arrest of the President of Venezuela Nicolás Maduro, directly threatened Iran, and even raised the issue of the annexation of Greenland.
Under these conditions, the famous “Spirit of dialogue” of Davos looks like a tasteless joke.
All indications suggest that Trump will shock even his allies, adopting a blunt, aggressive tone, openly expressing his distrust toward the global elite, and forcing it to wonder whether it stands on the right side of History.
The only certainty, he will demand massive investments in the American economy.

The end of Davos as we knew it
Davos as a bastion of globalization appears to be reaching its end.
Indicative is the stance of Larry Fink, who until recently fanatically promoted the climate agenda, but now maintains radio silence.
Instead, in recent months, he sought Trump’s support for the acquisition of two ports at the Panama Canal, and donated at least 2,5 million dollars for the renovation of the White House ballroom.
The message is clear, even the most powerful globalists are adapting.
Who will be at Davos and why the presence of Dmitriev raises questions
More than 60 heads of state or government, 55 ministers of economy and finance, and more than 800 CEOs and presidents of multinational giants are expected at the forum.
Among the names, Nvidia President Jensen Huang, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, and Anthropic founder and CEO Dario Amodei.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy will also be present, who, however, will hardly find allies, following his recent statement that Ukraine appears less willing for peace talks than Russia.
The official Russian delegation is not participating in the forum.
However, Kirill Dmitriev has stated that he will be present, most likely in an unofficial role, a presence that in itself fuels scenarios of behind the scenes maneuvers.
In any case, Davos 2026 will not be just another elite gathering.
It will be a field of confrontation.
With Trump at the forefront, the globalists are no longer discussing the future, they are fighting for their survival.
And this time, they hold no cards in their hands.
