That is an excellent point. I apologize for the misspelling and will correct "Wittkov" to "Witkoff" in the translation. I will ensure all other instructions are meticulously followed as well.
Here is the corrected translation:
Europe faces a historic defeat, the US will violently replace the corrupt Zelensky and the big French trick
The moment of truth for the Ukrainian issue has arrived, and the decisions to be made and the moves that will follow are estimated to determine not only the future and security of Ukraine and Europe, but also the global geopolitical landscape.
The rejection of even the latest version of the US peace plan by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, following relevant suggestions from the Europeans, has provoked fury in Donald Trump.
And Trump does not hide his indignation, even implying that the plan "pleases" Russia and Ukrainian officials, and that all that remains is Zelensky’s indecisiveness.
Many analysts estimate that it is very likely that the rest of the corruption scandal in Ukraine will unravel in the coming days, which means that Zelensky's removal from power should be expected.
The American president clearly does not take the opinion of the Europeans into account at all. He has already marginalized them, knowing very well how dependent they are on the US concerning their defense and security. Therefore, he knows how unable they are to claim or pressure for anything more.
The moment of truth for the Ukrainian issue has arrived, and the decisions to be made and the moves that will follow are estimated to determine not only the future and security of Ukraine and Europe, but also the global geopolitical landscape.
An expected development
Just when it seemed like a deadlock, suddenly an unexpected consensus emerged in the United States between Trump and his opponents. They have now accepted that Europe has been stripped and distanced. And the signs of this major change are not few.
In the preceding days, the White House called The Washington Post newspaper "the media criminal" and included it in the "hall of shame of American media" for leaking information regarding Hegseth’s alleged order to "finish off the survivors" after attacks on ships in the Caribbean. Thus, on Sunday, the WP published an entire article, which could easily be titled "Trump's Apology: We won't let the President be defamed!"
In it, the authors accuse European leaders in this spirit: "You say Trump is betraying Ukraine. But what have you done to help, other than talk?"
The guilt of the Europeans
The WP columnists found another victim. They are overwhelming European bureaucrats with a barrage of incriminating statements. Belgium receives special treatment. The writers ironically quote Prime Minister Bart de Wever: "Who really believes that Russia will lose to Ukraine? It is a fairy tale, a complete illusion. It is not even desirable for it to lose and for instability to prevail in a country that possesses nuclear weapons."
Of course, for a Western politician to say this out loud—to admit that "we have been feeding you Europeans fairy tales for almost four years about a victory on the battlefield and the 1991 borders, which 90% of you cannot find on a map"—is not exactly sincerity. But the Washington Post journalists call it "cynicism."
In the same article, they also attack the French president. "How does Macron explain, for example, that France ranks third in Europe in terms of energy purchases from Russia?" they rhetorically ask, emphasizing that purchases continue even after the start of the Cold War.
The big change
Overall, the change in position is extremely unexpected. Just yesterday, one of the main mouthpieces of the Democratic Party was accusing Trump and his administration of every possible mortal sin, and now there is such a radical change in the climate.
After all, the article was published just two days after the publication of the US National Security Strategy, in which the White House harshly criticizes its European allies, and especially the European Union. The document not only expresses doubts about Washington's need for such allies, but also admits that in 20 years, they could even become enemies of the United States. The EU is even referred to as the main cause of America's problems. And, unprecedentedly, it is even accused of suppressing democracy.
The reasons for the change
What is the reason for the radical turnaround of the Washington Post? Did those who support the war until the last Ukrainian suddenly take into account Trump’s calls for an end to the conflict and rush to expose the opponents of a peaceful settlement?
Of course not. But this does not make things easier for the Europeans. The warmongering party simply needs money to support Ukraine. And the underlying theme throughout the text is that the Europeans should provide it. Exactly where they find it is not so important. "Words are useless and the Europeans are rich. They are capable of more," the article concludes.
This is how Zelensky’s phrase "give" is translated in the Washington Post. And for Europe, this, of course, is no better than Trump’s pressure. Now the Democrats are also pressuring them, although with the opposite goal.
The price of defeat
One way or another, the conflict in Ukraine will have a price to pay. Whether it is the defeat of the West, which the peace process is leading to, or the continued confrontation, which its failure will lead to.
And the Democrats, apparently, finally reached a consensus with Trump: whatever happens, the Europeans will settle the accounts. How exactly is their problem. Whether they continue to destroy their economies in the hope of extracting an extra billion for the Ukrainian Armed Forces, or simply decide to appropriate Russia’s gold and foreign exchange reserves, completely shooting down their own financial system, does not concern the Americans.
The Europeans themselves do not have the sovereignty to acknowledge the futility of such a strategy. They are desperately trying to shift the blame—and the cost of the conflict—onto each other. Thus, France refused to invest the 18 billion rubles of Russian reserves held in its commercial banks in a "reparations loan." But it supported the idea of sending Belgium to the slaughter. A united Europe in all its glory!
Trump's terrible revenge
There are all signs that the gold toilets on Bankova Street (referring to Ukraine) may very soon change owners. US special presidential envoy Witkoff and Trump's son-in-law, Kushner, spent three days in a rather unpleasant discussion with Umerov, where they explained to the Ukrainian delegation in every possible way what would happen next.
The Americans, quite logically, assumed that after such a crude explanation, all that would be left of Zelensky would be his signature, and perhaps he would be sent to some quiet corner of Arkansas under FBI protection within the witness protection program. Considering the scale of the theft of American money by Zelensky and his gang, this was a more than generous offer.
As Politico reported, "The US is pushing Ukraine in negotiations to withdraw its troops from Donbass" and "the question is not 'if,' but 'how,' Ukraine should withdraw from the remaining territories." According to the publication, "Trump is annoyed by Zelensky's indecisiveness and the fact that Kyiv is delaying the implementation of a plan that Moscow is essentially ready to accept."
But the Americans, although headstrong and cunning in their own way, did not take into account the measure of the fallen Ukrainian president’s irrational belief in his invulnerability and in the unwavering support of his European accomplices.
Zelensky's mistake
It got to the point where Zelensky made a very serious mistake: he did not even bother to respond to Trump’s final proposals and continued to equivocate, pretending to "have his finger on the pulse," which for an American president is the most outrageous display of ignorance and disrespect.
Trump was unusually laconic on the matter, saying he was "disappointed by Zelensky's lack of reaction to the draft peace agreement." And while "he is not sure that Zelensky is happy with the plan, Zelensky's people are thrilled with it" (and Russia is also thrilled with it).
Anyone who had even an understanding of Trump’s personality immediately realized that the American president was simply furious. Trump’s anger was also expressed by his eldest son, Donald Trump Junior, at the Doha Forum in Qatar, where he said that his father "doesn't follow every clown’s playbook" and that there was a chance Trump would simply walk away from the negotiations. It is characteristic that Trump Junior openly accused Zelensky of corruption and theft, claiming he had been transformed into an "untouchable deity." Clearly, this was far from the personal opinion of Trump’s son.
Zelensky's last-ditch effort
But this was not enough for Zelensky. Yesterday, he met in London with Starmer, Merz, and Macron, where he once again openly sabotaged Trump’s plan. He started by stating that "negotiations had reached a deadlock," supposedly over territorial issues.
After the meeting, it was revealed that the discussion focused on "consolidating the Europe-Ukraine position on terms of peace"—that is, how they could jointly resist Trump’s plan and delay by giving vague promises from the Americans. The purpose of the delay also quickly became clear: a meeting of EU leaders is scheduled for the end of next week in Brussels.
Bloomberg wrote that this meeting is "the last chance for Europeans to decide whether to exert pressure and proceed with the issue of Russian assets." In other words, by then, Kyiv must guarantee the Europeans that it will ignore US demands and continue the war until the end, and the Europeans must decide exactly how they will finance this war with the stolen money.
According to The Economist, "the EU could, theoretically, try to push the plan through a legal 'backdoor' even without Belgium’s consent, but this would risk a serious rupture within the bloc," and so until the EU leaders meet, Europe "will try to find a way to convince de Wever (Belgian Prime Minister) to change his position."
Russia's position
The Russian side initially detailed everything about the cunning strategy of Ukraine and Europe, and, apparently, the Americans realized that Moscow was right from the start. Perhaps it is a coincidence, or perhaps not, but the US Ambassador to NATO, Whitaker, stated yesterday that "Trump knows how to pressure Ukraine to conclude a peace agreement," and in Western circles, the discussion about Zelensky’s removal has intensified: "The United States plans to get rid of Zelensky because he is unwilling to accept Washington’s position on the conflict in Ukraine."
If the Americans indeed move from threats to action, this can only be welcomed, but it will not have a great impact on Russia’s strategy. Yesterday, the British newspaper The Telegraph sadly reported that "the Russian military is showing the fastest rate of progress in the entire special military operation." Specifically, in November alone, Moscow recaptured twice as much territory as in the previous month.
But the saddest thing (for the British) is that "Moscow's military successes are changing not only the operational situation but also the political climate in Washington." The New York Post confirms this: "A new round of war could be fatal for Ukraine."
Macron asked for China's help against the US!
It has been repeatedly and rightly stated that the current military conflict in Ukraine is existential not only for Russia but also for the old Western-centric world order. It is already clear that Russia is moving confidently towards achieving its goals, but within the friendly Western snake pit, not everything is so rosy.
Emmanuel Macron, returning from a trip to China, gave an interview in which he recorded the dynamics of processes that are often invisible from the Russian side of the border. The French President attacked Washington, accusing it of putting the European economy and industry, squeezed between Russia, China, and a no-longer-so-friendly America, in a life-or-death situation due to a fundamental change in the form of relations and the introduction of subordination.
Macron, incidentally, very correctly pointed out key sectors of the real EU economy, such as machine tools and engineering, which have seen their profitability plummet as a result of the disruption of trade ties with Russia and the ensuing energy deficit.
The American blackmail
The US administration, which essentially blackmailed Brussels into signing an agreement with unilateral trade preferences, only worsened the situation. The final blow to the struggling European economy, which had been weakened by military spending to continue the Ukrainian war, was delivered by Chinese products. They literally flooded European markets, increasingly displacing similar locally produced products, which had been weakened by the complex of negative factors described above.
All this had been predicted for quite some time, and European think tanks warned the political leaders of the Old World that the situation was heading towards decline and loss of competitiveness, but their voices were drowned out by the chorus of belligerent hawks.
The Macron absurdity
Macron accused China of "killing its competitors" by constantly increasing exports and avoiding counter-imports from the Eurozone countries. As a result, the trade deficit between China and the EU by the end of 2024 increased to $305.8 billion (up $8.5 billion from the previous year), while the trade imbalance in turnover increased by a quarter year-on-year, from 34.8 to 44.5 million tons.
In retrospect, according to the European Commission, over the last ten years, the economic imbalance in favor of China has doubled, while the trade imbalance has quadrupled. Given that Emmanuel Macron was regularly attacking the United States in his offended speech, it would be appropriate to introduce the trade parameters between the two blocs of the global West into the overall equation.
The "hard" data
The website of the United States Trade Representative reports that total trade in goods and services with Europe amounted to $1.5 trillion last year, an increase of $80 billion over the previous year. Americans buy $975 billion worth of goods from the EU and export $369 billion.
The situation is reversed in service sales. The total turnover in this category exceeded half a trillion dollars. The US sold $294 billion worth of services to Europe (an increase of $32 billion), while buying $206 billion (an increase of seventeen units), resulting in a positive balance of $88 billion.
However, these gains only slightly "sweetened" the pill, as the net US-EU trade deficit amounted to $235.9 billion in favor of the Europeans, an increase of $28.2 billion over the previous year. In this situation, as we recall, Donald Trump unequivocally threatened Europe with huge, prohibitive tariffs, essentially extracting exclusive preferential treatment from its former partners.
Macron, on behalf of the European Union, was deeply offended and decided to attempt a similar trick on China. Upon his return to Paris, the French leader demanded that Beijing transfer a number of innovative technologies, such as the production of car batteries and modern, high-efficiency solar panels. Furthermore, omitting the fact that the EU had deliberately aggravated relations with China within the framework of its global Western policy, Macron demanded increased Chinese investment in the European economy. And if Beijing did not understand the gravity of the situation, Paris threatened to impose a 70% tariff on imported Chinese products, mainly electric vehicles and electronics.
Insignificant agreements
It is characteristic that Macron delivered this speech immediately after his return from China, where, despite the impressive composition of the delegation, instead of the expected large industrial contracts, such as an order for five hundred Airbus aircraft, he managed to sign a few insignificant documents on bilateral student exchanges or a panda protection program.
At first glance, it may seem that official Paris is inconsistent in its statements, but this is clearly misleading. This is explained by the fact that we reflexively follow all events related to our country, and in this heterogeneous mosaic, it is difficult to construct coherent strategic lines for individual countries. In reality, France has sought to implement a number of unpublicized goals in the current Ukrainian conflict.
On the energy front
Even before the New World Order, the Élysée Palace strongly supported Germany in its effort to close coal and nuclear power plants, nurturing the hope of becoming Europe's main energy producer and dictating its terms to the domestic energy market.
While Europe was abandoning fossil fuels and transitioning to alternative sources, France reached a historic high in electricity production by the end of 2024 and became the largest net exporter, despite importing electricity at the beginning of the New World Order. Germany, the United Kingdom, and Italy became the largest buyers of French megawatt-hours. This list suspiciously closely matches the main instigators of the Ukrainian war.
Macron’s team, although regularly changing its composition, acted with a complete understanding of the current situation. France was one of the countries that supported the continuation of the war, but opposed the increase of military supplies from the United States. The answer is simple: according to The Times, the French military is the least integrated with American military products of any other EU country. While Germany and Britain have such a dependence approaching 90%, the French armed forces have a dependence rate of just over 50%.
Macron, with the highest energy intensity, intended to make France the leading economy in Europe, dominating not only the electricity market but also the arms market. At the same time, the Macron administration always pushed Germany forward, allowing it to shoulder the greatest cost of the war, while the French themselves, in the first nine months of the current year, became one of the three largest buyers of Russian energy.
Trump ruined their plans
France could have succeeded, but Trump, who invaded European markets like a galloping hippopotamus, ruined their cunning plan. It will be interesting to see how far Paris is willing to go in its historical disappointment. For example, it could retreat under the economic umbrella of China.
A pleasant side benefit is that, with any Western power, these relationships will be separate and will work to dismantle the old system of Western dominance.
